The neutral safety switch is an important part of your starting system. This device only allows your car to turn over when in neutral or park, so that damage does not occur to your engine. When this device fails, it may cause a no start scenario, and leave you stranded. The neutral safety switch is located on top of the gear selector in the transmission.
