This position will have responsibilities involving banking, accounts payable and general accounting functions Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to work in a team environment are mandatory. The capability to work on multiple projects in a fast-paced environment with a positive attitude is a requirement for the position. This is a full-time opportunity.   • Key Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for Accounting email inbox and liaising with vendors to answer any questions, investigate invoice discrepancies and handle any escalations.
  • Review and reconcile vendor statements and investigate and resolve invoice discrepancies.
  • Responsible for recording and processing vendor credits in ERP system.
  • Other Responsibilities:
  • Code and enter general ledger related expense invoices after obtaining proper approvals.
  • Match invoices with purchase orders, where applicable, purchase order requisitions, where applicable, and evidence of receipt of goods or services.
  • Balance and maintain accounts payable reports.
  • Assist in maintaining Sales and Use Tax records.
  • Assist in the administration of the company's credit card program and monthly reconciliation process. Send out notices and alerts, track usage, review and resolve coding issues.
  • Process payments for approved invoices by preparing check runs, wire transfers initiation and ACH transactions.
  • Reconcile and apply credit card and wire payments to vendors.
  • Prepare necessary month end reports.
  • Enter monthly journal entries.
  • Perform duties as required with emphasis on process improvement and identify opportunities for cost savings.

ECS is looking for a mid-level candidate to join our team as the Logistics Manager. This position will report to the Director of Sourcing & Purchasing based at our world headquarters in Wadsworth, Ohio.

  • Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for daily logistics operations including coordination of inbound and outbound freight, monitoring daily shipping reports, Domestic and International LTL, LCL, FCL.
  • Maintenance and Harmonized Tariff Codes and Hazmat Compliance.
  • Establish and monitor shipping terms with key vendors: BOL, FOB, Ex-works.
  • Develop, implement and maintain "best in class" logistics support appropriate to deliver high and consistent service levels to internal and external customers.
  • Responsible for tactical leadership of the Logistics team. Currently, team consists of 1 Logistics Associate and 1 Logistics Analyst. A total team size of 2 employees.
  • Enhance logistics support of world class supply chain processes supporting direct fulfilment as well as "direct-from-manufacturer" fulfilment operations.
  • Continue to develop and maintain sound and ethical logistics policies and methodologies.
  • Management and coordination of logistics related systems and technology.
