Product Details

The Turner Motorsport hotside intake completely transforms the look of your engine bay while giving your N54 huge potential for gains. This kit relocates the OEM inlets and intakes to the hot side of the N54 engine bay, moving the coolant expansion tank to the other side of the engine bay, where the stock airbox is normally located. 

The less restrictive intake design allows for a peak gain of 23 wheel HP and 12 ft-lbs of torque at the wheel. The higher flow filter and intake design see a reduction in post filter pressure drop of 1.0 psi over the stock intake. This allows for gains across the entire RPM range! The reduced pressure drop also results in lower stress on the turbo.

In deciding what size inlets to purchase, 1.75" works best for stock turbo applications. 2" inlets are intended for upgraded turbo housings

  • Design Features and Benefits:

    • CAD designed Intake System that eliminates OEM inlet ducting and airbox for increased performance and a cleaner engine bay.

    • Silicone Inlet Hoses

      • Designed with a smooth contour for unobstructed flow compared to the OE inlet tubes.

      • Constructed of 5-Ply reinforced silicone for improved durability.

      • Silicone offers reduced thermal conductivity as well as improved resistance to ozone and UV degradation for improved performance and durability.

      • The silicone inlet for the rear turbo is designed in two pieces for ease of installation.

      • The hoses are coupled together using a 6061-T6 black anodized adapter. 

    • Exhaust Manifold & Air Filter Heat Shield

      • Heat shield is a one piece design manufactured from 12 gauge 5052 aluminum.

      • Heat shield is Type II clear anodized for increased durability.

      • Provides mounting for the boost solenoid/pressure converter.

      • Supplied pre-cut DEI reflect-a-gold film can be placed on the outside of the heat shield for increased heat resistance.

    • Vacuum Reservoir Bracket

      • Manufactured from 8 gauge 1018 steel and wrinkle black powder coated for increased durability and an awesome finished look in the engine bay.

      • Relocates vacuum reservoirs from passenger side to driver’s side of engine bay.

    • Snorkel
      • Ducts cool air from the stock inlets at the front of the car and minimizes the amount of hot air pulled from the engine bay.

      • Snorkel is wrinkle black powder coated for increased durability.

      • Snorkel is a one piece design manufactured from 12 gauge 5052 aluminum.   

    • Air Filters

      • Bellmouth (velocity stack) filter flange inlet to reduce turbulence in order to maximize flow.

      • Conical hi-flow reusable air filter; featuring 8 ply oiled cotton gauze construction to maximize filtration efficiency.
