The phillips 85112CM is the brightest 35w D2S bulb available on the market. These bulbs are "color match" to provide the brightest white output available.

Most 4200k D2S bulbs start out producing a slightly yellow output, then "burn in" to produce a white look. After the burn in phase, the lights begin to emit less lumens and will fade out. These 85112CM bulbs start out at a brilliant 5000k, and are engineered to not fade over time, producing the brightest output available.

Because this bulb is already "color matched" it can also be used to match the output of a D2S bulb that has already burnt in. This will prevent the difference of colors that is obtained when only replacing one D2S bulb.
