Cold Air Intakes are an excellent modification for any vehicle, as they bring in cooler air, instead of air that has been heat soaked by the engine. The putative principle behind a cold air intake is that cooler air has a higher density, thus containing more oxygen per volume unit than warmer air.

Developed as a true ram air intake system, the Carbonio Cold Air Intake will provide your vehicle with a long list of improvements. Increased horsepower, throttle response, fuel economy, and easy installation lend themselves to serious performance upgrades. Instead of the stock intake snorkel which can collapse under boost, the APR Carbonio system holds it shape so that no boost losses are experienced.

This intake does offer a few OEM features, including maintaining all factory emissions components and the OEM thermostatically controlled flap valve.
