As part of APEX's forged Sprint line, the VS-5RS was built to be extremely light while still offering a meaningful strength increase over the flow formed wheels. Engineered for drivers looking to shed as much weight as possible to improve lap times.

Features:
10K tons of pressure: The new forgings weigh as much as 120 pounds before machining. To form such a thick blank they require special equipment capable of 10,000 metric tons of pressure. This extreme pressure increases the strength of the aluminum by eliminating porosity and improving the grain structure.
True motorsport blanks: Many companies use 3rd-party blanks intended for non-motorsport wheels which can severely limit sizes, concavity, spoke design, and critical brake clearance. They designed the very own blank profiles from scratch which gives total control over the final product, resulting in exceptionally deep spokes and stronger designs.
Side-milled spokes: To be as light as possible the VS-5RS features extra-deep, side-milled spokes. Any excess material that doesn’t add strength is carved out using a precision CNC ball cutter. Side-milling is often deemed cost-prohibitive by others, but for true performance without compromise they believe it's essential.
A stronger lightweight wheel: The forged Sprint wheels are lightweight without the strength compromises found on typical lightweight wheels. First, they carved out as much material as possible, then purposefully added one pound back to reinforce critical areas, creating a stronger inner lip and a higher load rating. What’s the point of a lightweight wheel if it’s fragile?
Weight optimized: They conducted extensive Finite Element Analysis (FEA) to reinforce high-stress areas and to remove material where it didn’t improve strength. The result is a wheel that is exceptionally light without the strength compromises found on typical lightweight wheels.
Independently tested: They don't rely solely on computer simulations or unverifiable in-house testing. They believe independent testing is critical to protect consumers in this unregulated industry. They chose STL, an independent lab in Ohio, to test the Sprint wheels far above JWL standards, including increases in testing duration, impact drop height, and total load.
Tougher inner lip: Introducing the Sprint spec inner lip, with a unique channel profile that makes it even stronger than the previous designs. So even though the Sprint wheels are pounds lighter than comparable flow formed wheels, the inner lip is stronger.
Big brake clearance: From day one, APEX has been on a mission to build wheels that clear big brakes. the new forged wheels are the product of everything they've developed over the past 10+ years, including an innovative high-clearance barrel design and vehicle-specific spoke profiles.
Deeper concavity: The new forgings were redesigned to create extra deep, concave spoke profiles. Their new shape allows to make any profile, from flat to deep and everything in between. Each one is optimized for a specific application using 3D laser scans of factory and aftermarket brake kits.
Paintless knurled beads: Whether it's a day at the track or months of street driving, repeated hard braking and acceleration can make a tire slip along the bead seat and go out of balance, causing vibration. Knurled beads help, but are less effective when painted over. The forged line features unpainted knurled beads that stay sharp and maximize grip.
Built for impact sockets: Track wheels need track tools. Don’t settle for wheels that require undersized tuner lugs or thin walled sockets. All APEX wheels accommodate over-sized race lugs and impact sockets to make swapping wheels lightning fast.
Laser-engraved specs: As track enthusiasts, they know how frustrating it is to try to locate and decipher wheel specs that have been hastily hammered into the rim or become unreadable over time. With the new Sprint™ wheels, they chose to invest a little extra and laser-engrave the specs on the barrel, in plain sight, making them easy to find and read. (You’re welcome.)

All you need is your order number and email address.
New/Unused Product Returns
ECS Tuning will accept returns for unused products within 90 days of the ship date for a refund to the original payment method used. The customer is responsible for the return shipping costs and fees. If selecting to use a prepaid shipping label, the shipping cost will be deducted from the total refunded amount. All new/unused products must be new, unused and must be in the original packaging, including labeling, manuals, hardware, etc. Special order parts are non-refundable.
In the event that we find an error on our website or on behalf of an ECS Tuning Representative, we will provide a return shipping label from the original delivery location.
Refused Packages
Any domestic orders that are returned to ECS Tuning as refused by receiver or non-deliverable will be subject to a return handling fee and will be processed as a return in compliance with our standard return policy, including a 15% restocking fee.
Any international orders that are refused at the time of delivery will be subject to carrier abandonment of the package, at which time the ordered products would be discarded by the carrier. The customer will not be refunded for the value of the order and the discarded products are no longer retrievable.

ECS Tuning now offers an online returns solution! To get started, simply log into your ECS Tuning account, Click the "View Orders" button on the My Account home page and select the order that you wish to make a return on to begin. If you have any questions, feel free to reach out to our Customer Service Team for assistance!
Please note: Refunds will be processed to the original payment method used on the order or to an in store credit, respective to the type of return that is made as well as any pre-existing arrangements with an ECS Tuning Customer Service Representative. In the event that multiple forms of payment were used, we will refund the value to an in store credit. In the event that a return label is provided, these charges may be deducted from the total refund you receive.
Original shipping costs are non-refundable and the buyer is responsible for return shipping charges. ECS Tuning will not accept COD deliveries.
All in store credit balances will expire after one year from the original purchase date.
