CTS Turbo is excited to announce the release of our latest Stage 2+ aka the “RS” turbocharger set, designed specifically for the BMW S55 platform. This kit builds on the success and knowledge of the previous turbo projects we have made and incorporates new technology to optimize performance and maintain factory fitment.
Our engineers utilized transient flow analysis and flow bench testing to optimize the twin-scroll turbine housing while maintaining stock fitment, stock location, and stock wastegates. This allows for the use of any stock fitment downpipes, intakes, and charge pipes. The result is an impressive 808whp on a built engine with supporting mods. You can simply transfer your factory wastegates, high-performance downpipes, intake, and charge pipes during the installation. No custom parts are needed and all factory installation hardware and gaskets are used!
The kit features complete brand-new turbochargers and large inlet pipes. No need for cores to be sent in or purchased.
Each turbocharger is VSR balanced to exceed OE tolerances with upgraded heavy-duty bearings and thrust washers. We supply reinforced silicone inlets, that are compatible with any intake system. These inlets will not collapse or deform under vacuum.
Our turbochargers are designed to move a lot of air at lower boost levels, which means you can make some serious power without over-speeding the turbos, which means reliable performance.
Optimal boost levels are 24-25psi with approximately 85-88% WGDC. This must be confirmed by your tuner and adjusted, depending on your build.

- Bolt-on journal bearing CHRA with HD bearings, turbine shaft diameter increased by 0.5mm and thrust surface increased by 2mm
- Billet 8 blade compressor wheel, 47.4mm inducer, 58mm exducer with 63.10mm extended tip design
- 9 blade Mar-M 246 Superalloy turbine wheel, 52mm inducer, 45.6mm exducer, high-flow
- 316 stainless steel exhaust housings and wastegate components
- VSR Balanced to exceed OE tolerances
- Wire-reinforced silicone turbo inlet included
- Compatible with factory installation hardware (not included)
- Compatible with factory wastegate actuators (not included, use your original wastegate actuators)
Fitment:
- 2015 – 2020 BMW M3 and BMW M4 with S55 engine (F80, F82, F83)
- 2018 – 2021 BMW M2C and BMW M2CS with S55 engine (F87)
NOTE: Installation and tuning must be performed by a qualified professional. Wastegate actuators MUST be calibrated using ISTA+ software before tuning.
**CTS Turbochargers are warrantied against manufacturing defects for a period of 6 months from the date of invoice. Warranty does not cover abuse, misuse, consequential damages, normal wear and tear, improper installation, or damages resulting from racing. Warranties only apply to the original owner. If a product is found defective the customer will receive, at the discretion of CTS Turbo, free repair or replacement. Warranty on other manufacturers will be processed under their terms. New/Unused Product Returns
ECS Tuning will accept returns for unused products within 90 days of the ship date for a refund to the original payment method used. The customer is responsible for the return shipping costs and fees. If selecting to use a prepaid shipping label, the shipping cost will be deducted from the total refunded amount. All new/unused products must be new, unused and must be in the original packaging, including labeling, manuals, hardware, etc. Special order parts are non-refundable.
In the event that we find an error on our website or on behalf of an ECS Tuning Representative, we will provide a return shipping label from the original delivery location.
Refused Packages
Any domestic orders that are returned to ECS Tuning as refused by receiver or non-deliverable will be subject to a return handling fee and will be processed as a return in compliance with our standard return policy, including a 15% restocking fee.
Any international orders that are refused at the time of delivery will be subject to carrier abandonment of the package, at which time the ordered products would be discarded by the carrier. The customer will not be refunded for the value of the order and the discarded products are no longer retrievable.

ECS Tuning now offers an online returns solution! To get started, simply log into your ECS Tuning account, Click the "View Orders" button on the My Account home page and select the order that you wish to make a return on to begin. If you have any questions, feel free to reach out to our Customer Service Team for assistance!
Please note: Refunds will be processed to the original payment method used on the order or to an in store credit, respective to the type of return that is made as well as any pre-existing arrangements with an ECS Tuning Customer Service Representative. In the event that multiple forms of payment were used, we will refund the value to an in store credit. In the event that a return label is provided, these charges may be deducted from the total refund you receive.
Original shipping costs are non-refundable and the buyer is responsible for return shipping charges. ECS Tuning will not accept COD deliveries.
All in store credit balances will expire after one year from the original purchase date.
