The E90 335xi marks the AWD version of the popular twin-turbo sedan favored by tuners in search of accessible big power from a modest platform. Although a six-cylinder powerplant remained at its heart, twin turbochargers were added to bump the output to 302hp and 300lb.ft of torque. Two different versions were offered with earlier pre-LCI vehicles being powered by the N54, while later models were powered by the N55. Power got to the ground through either a six-speed manual or six-speed ZF automatic, with this version including the use of front drive axles to power all four wheels.
