The S63 engine at the heart of the F10 M5 produces lusty performance and a sinister shout from its quad exhaust tips. Twin turbocharging produces 553hp and 502lb.ft from the 4.4L S63 which is then transferred through a six-speed manual, or DCT transmission. This would be the last 5 series to be offered with a traditional manual gearbox and was only offered as an option in the United States.
