BMW E60 530i M54 ECS Assembled DISA Valve Kits
The E60 530i has proven to be very solid vehicle with exceptional styling, but there is one issue for the M54 3.0L engine, the DISA valve.
This particular valve controls the path of air into the intake manifold - this is why the most common sign of failure is poor idling. When you have idling problems, low fuel mileage and a lack of reliable performance are usually part of the problem as well.
