The factory radiator found in the VW MQB application was engineered to only support stock power outputs and last within a set service life. All too often when more power is demanded the cooling system becomes stressed and can shed only so much heat, in so much time. The ECS Tuning in-house engineered Performance Aluminum Radiator utilizes a larger volume, triple-pass aluminum heat exchanger that is hand TIG-welded to 5052 aluminum end tanks and polished to perfection.
