I bought my 2022 GTI in 2022 after hearing this was the last generation of a gas powered GTI. I met my wife in the early 2000s when we were both driving a 2004 black VW Jettas. We have been together ever since and always had a fondness for VW having owned 7 between the two of us. With the nostalgia and desire to have a new GTI I purchased the MK8. Sadly, the 240hp stock wasnt enough and with that I started building as parts became available. Currently making 390hp and 417lbs torque.
