New ECS MK8 GTI / Golf R Master Cylinder Brace
Master cylinder braces are a common upgrade to reduce brake booster / master cylinder deflection under sudden, hard braking conditions. This deflection occurs due to the thin firewall material that the brake booster bolts to actually flexing under sudden, hard braking. Our ECS Tuning Master Cylinder Brace was designed and engineered in-house to reduce this deflection which improves brake pedal response while adding confidence in your brake's hydraulic system. Our design requires no permanent modifications to the body.
