The stock air box in the Volkswagen MKV R32 is a bit restrictive, as it doesn't allow the maximum amount of air to flow into the engine, reducing power and performance. Adding a new cold air intake will allow the motor to breath the way it should have in the first place. This intake is enclosed in a durable 16 gauge, powder coated heat shield and it features a heat-insulated plastic tube that replaces the stock intake tract and directs increased air flow with improved volumetric efficiency for maximum performance.
