The air conditioning system in your Mercedes-Benz is easy to take for granted, until the moment it stops working.
The system relies on several systems and components to operate efficiently, one of those components is the A/C pressure switch. This switch tells the A/C control module when the refrigerant pressure is getting too high. It is also used to prevent the compressor from cycling when there is no refrigerant in the system, thus protecting the compressor from damage.
When this switch fails, it will no longer send a signal to the A/C control module, and the system will shut down to protect itself. This means no more cold air until the system is diagnosed and repaired.
If you think your A/C pressure switch has failed, replace it today, and bring the climate in your vehicles cabin back under control. If you are working on the A/C system, be sure to have everything you need to do the job correctly. It is recommended that the receiver / drier be replaced each time the A/C system is opened for any reason. ECS Tuning carries a full line of A/C components for your Mercedes-Benz to help you keep the climate control working perfectly for years to come.
