The screen itself is slightly larger then a single DIN and works with the Gen 1 MINIs. 2002-2008 design.
Bremmen Parts is aware of these issues and is proud to offer a direct-fit multimedia head unit that alleviates the inherent issues with universal aftermarket radios. Bremmen's Android Multimedia System features a high-definition capacitive touch screen and fits snugly within the factory radio cut-out while bolting into the same locations as the factory radio. The included wiring harness allows for installation. You will still need to match up the wires from the harness provided to the wires in your factory harness to tap into.
**This will take some work to fit into location so it does not hit the upper dash trim. This adjustment is done by fitting the outside holder cage in location, then bending back the tabs to set the location, making sure it clears the dash trim. Then you slide the headunit into place. If this is too difficult you can get the plate frame. ES4314839**
You are able to use your favorite navigation app's by tethering your phone's WIFI/Bluetooth. The high-resolution touch screen is an upgrade worth itself over cars with factory navigation.
This units it not 100% Plug and Play, its the closest design to factory integration and the cleanest on the market.
If you need to use the factory antenna to use FM/AM you will need a FAKRA Car Radio Antenna Extension. This uses the rear antenna connection on the rear and hooks to the factory antenna output. ES5388885

- Cars with Harman Kardon sound system will need ES#4699676 H/K enabler or need to bypass amp. **Please do your research as the H/K enabler we carried is no NLA, their are other version on the market we dont carry. **
- If you are not capable of install please consult a Audio install shop that works on BMWs and MINIs as they will have knowledge of how the system work/function as MINIs from this generation share many items from the BMW e46 era.

All you need is your order number and email address.
New/Unused Product Returns
ECS Tuning will accept returns for unused products within 90 days of the ship date for a refund to the original payment method used. The customer is responsible for the return shipping costs and fees. If selecting to use a prepaid shipping label, the shipping cost will be deducted from the total refunded amount. All new/unused products must be new, unused and must be in the original packaging, including labeling, manuals, hardware, etc. Special order parts are non-refundable.
In the event that we find an error on our website or on behalf of an ECS Tuning Representative, we will provide a return shipping label from the original delivery location.
Refused Packages
Any domestic orders that are returned to ECS Tuning as refused by receiver or non-deliverable will be subject to a return handling fee and will be processed as a return in compliance with our standard return policy, including a 15% restocking fee.
Any international orders that are refused at the time of delivery will be subject to carrier abandonment of the package, at which time the ordered products would be discarded by the carrier. The customer will not be refunded for the value of the order and the discarded products are no longer retrievable.

Please note: Refunds will be processed to the original payment method used on the order or to an in store credit, respective to the type of return that is made as well as any pre-existing arrangements with an ECS Tuning Customer Service Representative. In the event that multiple forms of payment were used, we will refund the value to an in store credit. In the event that a return label is provided, these charges may be deducted from the total refund you receive.
Original shipping costs are non-refundable and the buyer is responsible for return shipping charges. ECS Tuning will not accept COD deliveries.
All in store credit balances will expire after one year from the original purchase date.
