For enthusiasts pursuing maximum stopping performance, we've engineered two-piece, semi-floating brake rotors that offer real-world benefits that can be felt on both the street and track! Our two-piece rotors combine the advantages of weight savings and rapid heat dissipation to provide a rotor superior to OE, all while preventing warping and extending component life.
Unlike conventional one-piece rotors, this two-piece design drastically improves heat dissipation by bolting the aluminum rotor hat directly to the cast iron ring. The heat-treated rings undergo a specialized process to minimize internal stress, reducing the likelihood of cracking under extreme braking forces. Additionally, directional curved veins efficiently channel hot air away from the braking surface for faster, more consistent cooling compared to traditional straight-veined designs.
To further enhance braking performance, these rotors incorporate a dimpled and slotted surface ring surface. The dimpled pattern promotes better airflow and cooling, while precisely machined slots help clean brake pads, remove water and debris, and minimize brake pad gassing for more responsive stopping power. For long-lasting reliability, all non-friction surfaces—including internal venting—are coated to resist salt and corrosion, while precision-ground braking surfaces ensure a smooth, parallel contact area for optimal pad bedding and performance.

- Aluminum Rotor Hats: Constructed from lightweight 6061 aluminum and hard anodized with an attractive matte black finish that is both durable and corrosion-resistant.
- FC-30 Cast Iron Rotor Rings: Known for impressive wear resistance and stable friction characteristics, FC-30 cast iron is favored for brake rotors due to its ability to absorb and dissipate large amounts of heat.
- Two-Piece Construction: Conventional rotors are made from a solid block of cast iron, causing them to be very inefficient at dissipating heat. Our rotor hats are bolted directly to the rotor ring for a drastic increase in effective heat dissipation.
- Heat Treated Rings: Heat treating further reduces the tendency for rotor cracking by reducing internal rotor stresses.
- Directionally Veined: Conventional rotors feature straight cooling veins, and rely on an inefficient centrifuge-like effect to evacuate hot air from within the rotor. ECS two-piece rotors feature curved, directional veins that accelerate air away from the rotor at a higher velocity, leading to consistent, rapid cooling.
- Dimpled & Slotted: Our rotors are dimpled to promote enhanced ventilation for improved cooling and slotted to clean brake pads, carry away both water and brake dust, and reduce rotor face temperatures to minimize brake pad gassing. Cleaner and cooler brake pads result in faster, more consistent stopping power. Slots are machined with a ball end mill to prevent cracking.
- Manufacturing Quality: Non-friction ring surfaces, including internal vents, are painted to resist salt and other corrosives. Ground braking surfaces ensure rings run parallel, and pads bed easily.

All you need is your order number and email address.
New/Unused Product Returns
ECS Tuning will accept returns for unused products within 90 days of the ship date for a refund to the original payment method used. The customer is responsible for the return shipping costs and fees. If selecting to use a prepaid shipping label, the shipping cost will be deducted from the total refunded amount. All new/unused products must be new, unused and must be in the original packaging, including labeling, manuals, hardware, etc. Special order parts are non-refundable.
In the event that we find an error on our website or on behalf of an ECS Tuning Representative, we will provide a return shipping label from the original delivery location.
Refused Packages
Any domestic orders that are returned to ECS Tuning as refused by receiver or non-deliverable will be subject to a return handling fee and will be processed as a return in compliance with our standard return policy, including a 15% restocking fee.
Any international orders that are refused at the time of delivery will be subject to carrier abandonment of the package, at which time the ordered products would be discarded by the carrier. The customer will not be refunded for the value of the order and the discarded products are no longer retrievable.

To get started, simply log into your ECS Tuning account, Click the "View Orders" button on the My Account home page and select the order that you wish to make a return on to begin. If you have any questions, feel free to reach out to our Customer Service Team for assistance!
Please note: Refunds will be processed to the original payment method used on the order or to an in store credit, respective to the type of return that is made as well as any pre-existing arrangements with an ECS Tuning Customer Service Representative. In the event that multiple forms of payment were used, we will refund the value to an in store credit. In the event that a return label is provided, these charges may be deducted from the total refund you receive.
Original shipping costs are non-refundable and the buyer is responsible for return shipping charges. ECS Tuning will not accept COD deliveries.
All in store credit balances will expire after one year from the original purchase date.
