Developed in-house by ECS engineers, this system replaces the restrictive factory exhaust with a free-flowing, TIG-welded T304 stainless steel design for increased durability, improved exhaust flow, and enhanced driving engagement.

Our proprietary muffler assembly retains factory valve positioning, functionality, and control. With the valves closed, you'll enjoy a subdued note suitable for daily driving or long highway cruises. Open the valves, and this system transforms—delivering a deeper, more aggressive tone that brings out the true character of the 2.0T.

This full T304 stainless steel system features CNC-machined flanges for precise fitment and mandrel-bent tubing for consistent flow. Choose between two midpipe configurations—resonated or non-resonated—to customize overall sound characteristics and tailor your auditory experience. Designed as a fully-reversible, direct bolt-on upgrade, our system requires no permanent modifications.

PART DESIGN

• Features a straight-through flow path up to the muffler assembly, which then splits into quad 2.5" tailpipes for the least amount of restriction and turbulence

• Valved Muffler Design:

  • In-house engineered to achieve the most desirable exhaust notes with the largest delta between valve "closed" and valve "open" driving conditions 

  • Perforated tubing combined with stainless wool packing material helps to absorb unwanted volume and minimize drone throughout a specific RPM range

  • Our system reuses the factory electronic servo-valves in order to retain OEM valve control, in addition to keeping installation simple.

• 12mm barbed exhaust hangers feature 360° hanger stoppers for precise location and fitment

• Strategically placed slip joints provide the most adjustability to obtain a perfect fit

• Designed to maximize ground clearance while still being compatible with aftermarket components, such as larger rear sway bars

Our 8Y S3 Valved Catback Exhaust System was designed, engineered, tested, and quality inspected by our Research and Development team in our Wadsworth, Ohio, facility. We strive for the highest level of precision and quality through leading-edge product development technology, including FARO laser scanning for reverse engineering and quality inspection, SolidWorks 3D CAD modeling, rapid prototyping utilizing our in-house 3D printer, and rigorous long-term product testing.
