ECS VALVED CAT-BACK EXHAUST SYSTEM

Experience your driving passion with our ECS Valved Exhaust System, which allows for MMI control and operation of the valves.

The full exhaust system is made from high-quality brushed T304 stainless steel with TIG welded joints for an exceptional look and durability. Exhaust gases are channeled through the T304 Stainless pipes that meet into a Y section and then to the 3 chamber, in house designed mufflers. With this system, you, the driver, are in control of where the exhaust gases go from there. 

In normal, comfortable driving conditions, the valve remains closed and exhaust gases are directed through the channels of the mufflers, where sound reduction takes place. Once the exhaust valves are opened it unleashes a straight-through, raw, unedited exhaust symphony.

When paired with our standards of quality and design requirements here at ECS Tuning, we can provide your 8Y RS3 with a perfect blend of performance and an interactive driving experience. Through multiple design iterations and stringent product testing, we have engineered our exhaust system to not only free up horsepower but also to provide trouble-free installation that works with the factory valves and MMI integration.

Our ECS Valved Exhaust System was designed, engineered, tested, and quality inspected by our Research and Development team in our Wadsworth, Ohio facility. We strive for the highest level of precision and quality through leading-edge product development technology including FARO laser scanning for reverse engineering and quality inspection, SolidWorks 3D CAD modeling, rapid prototyping utilizing our in-house 3D printer, and rigorous long-term product testing.

  • Perforated tubing combined with stainless wool packing material helps to absorb unwanted volume and minimize drone throughout a specific RPM range

  • Our system reuses the factory electronic servo-valves in order to retain OEM valve control, in addition to keeping installation simple.

• 12mm barbed exhaust hangers, featuring 360° hanger stoppers, are Tig-Welded in OE locations for precise location

• Utilizes factory RS oval tips

• Strategically placed slip joints provide the most adjustability to obtain perfect fitment

• Designed to maximize ground clearance while still being compatible with aftermarket components, such as larger rear sway bars. 

ECS RACE EXHAUST SYSTEM

If you have driven a DAZA-powered car, even in stock form it feels like the sky's the limit.

When you're driving an 8Y RS3 equipped with the DAZA you can put your foot to the floor and it feels like the car would keep going and going, possibly with no limit. The RS3 driving experience is great but there is always room for improvement. Expect a significant drop in weight and huge gains in flow and exhaust tone. You will have to find the other restrictions holding you back from more power because it won't be the exhaust's fault, this is as free flowing as it gets. 

Our mission at ECS was to amplify the 8Y RS3 with a proper catback exhaust system. To accomplish this goal, our engineers increased flow, reduced weight, and delivered an exhaust system that captures the full unrestricted sound of the glorious inline-5 DAZA engine. The increase in flow was gained from dual 2.75" (70mm) 304 stainless steel exhaust pipes that feed into a 3.5” (89mm) collector pipe into the straight-through free flowing rear section. We specifically designed this catback with flow in mind to ensure the exhaust would never be a restriction. Weight reduction is achieved by replacing the factory piping with lightweight 304ss for a more-than-modest weight advantage. The best part of the Race Catback is the capability to perform far beyond the point that the factory exhausts. All of this plus the direct fitment and straightforward installation leads to our ECS Race Catback exhaust being the clear answer in your mission to find the best exhaust for your DAZA  powered 8Y RS3.
