DIFFUSER FEATURES:
The ECS Tuning MK7 GTI Aerodynamic Diffuser combines function, form and aesthetics to provide an increase in downforce without the additional drag created by a wing. To design our ECS Aero diffuser we started by 3D scanning our shop MK7 GTI. Then a 3D model of the full car was created in CAD utilizing our scan data. To further develop and tune our diffuser we utilized CFD analysis to find the best possible balance between downforce and drag, while minimizing flow separation. This results in more consistent diffuser performance across a wide range of conditions, ride heights and suspension setups.
Meticulously designed to provide bolt on fitment, requiring no permanent modifications to your vehicle when combined with our ECS Tuning Exhaust.
Pair this diffuser with our Fuel Tank Street Shield Skid Plate to improve efficiency (ES#4477687), or utilize our Ultimate Street Shield Kit to maximize efficiency (ES#4485271).

PART DESIGN:
- This Diffuser is in-house designed and engineered to provide functional aerodynamic benefits, specific to the MK7 GTI body, using FARO ARM laser scanning technology and SolidWorks 3D CAD modeling for precision fitment along with CFD to provide the best balance between downforce while minimizing drag.
- Made from lightweight, vacuum formed UV-stabilized gloss black ABS polymer
- Mounting brackets are made from 5052 aluminum powder coated wrinkle black
- 4" Stainless Steel Turndown Tips
- Developed and fine tuned using CFD with our in house MK7 GTI 3D model
- Mounts to the chassis for secure fitment
- Designed to work perfectly with our ECS Tuning Exhaust System - Tips must be removed

PERFORMANCE FEATURES
- Assists with rear tire contact by applying downforce over the rear axle. This is very beneficial on FWD vehicles where rear traction loss may occur at high speed cornering.
- Performance data metrics are collected utilizing CFD (Computational Fluid Dynamics) software to validate our design
- Simulation shown in the product photos represents airflow with the vehicle traveling at 120mph

If used with a non ECS exhaust, your existing exhaust tips must be removed and the tail pipes must be aligned with diffuser turndown (Turndown tips & brackets are included in this kit)
HATCH SPOILER EXTENSION DETAILS:
Upgrade the exterior styling on your 2015+ Volkswagen MK7 / MK7.5 GTI or Golf R with the ECS Tuning Gloss Black Hatch Spoiler Extension. Our Hatch Spoiler was engineered in-house and designed to follow the curves and lines of the body to offer a more aggressive look that matches the factory appeal of the GTI and Golf R. Crafted from high quality vacuum formed gloss black ABS polymer that is enhanced with UV-stabilizer to achieve its world class appearance and durability while providing a sporty style that's sure to set your vehicle apart from the rest. Installs atop the factory hatch spoiler with no drilling, cutting or any permanent modifications.
PART DESIGN

Accentuates the OE body lines throughout the outer edge of the spoiler
Designed to be an offset of the OE spoiler with a seamlessly integrated duck bill for the most OE plus appearance
Smooth / seamless transition from the OE lines to ECS spoiler
Retained OE side blade dimple feature that carries on above the doors
Utilizes 3M double sided tape for a strong bond to the body on the top and bottom side of the OE spoiler to avoid any paint chafing

INSTALLATION AND SUPPORT
Once you have the spoiler lined up, simply remove the liner on the pre-installed high strength dual sided tape sections and press the spoiler firmly onto the trunk lid. See our Installation Guide for general surface prep and installation.
4 sterile antiseptic alcohol wipes (ES2918127) are suggested for proper installation.

All you need is your order number and email address.
New/Unused Product Returns
ECS Tuning will accept returns for unused products within 90 days of the ship date for a refund to the original payment method used. The customer is responsible for the return shipping costs and fees. If selecting to use a prepaid shipping label, the shipping cost will be deducted from the total refunded amount. All new/unused products must be new, unused and must be in the original packaging, including labeling, manuals, hardware, etc. Special order parts are non-refundable.
In the event that we find an error on our website or on behalf of an ECS Tuning Representative, we will provide a return shipping label from the original delivery location.
Refused Packages
Any domestic orders that are returned to ECS Tuning as refused by receiver or non-deliverable will be subject to a return handling fee and will be processed as a return in compliance with our standard return policy, including a 15% restocking fee.
Any international orders that are refused at the time of delivery will be subject to carrier abandonment of the package, at which time the ordered products would be discarded by the carrier. The customer will not be refunded for the value of the order and the discarded products are no longer retrievable.

ECS Tuning now offers an online returns solution! To get started, simply log into your ECS Tuning account, Click the "View Orders" button on the My Account home page and select the order that you wish to make a return on to begin. If you have any questions, feel free to reach out to our Customer Service Team for assistance!
Please note: Refunds will be processed to the original payment method used on the order or to an in store credit, respective to the type of return that is made as well as any pre-existing arrangements with an ECS Tuning Customer Service Representative. In the event that multiple forms of payment were used, we will refund the value to an in store credit. In the event that a return label is provided, these charges may be deducted from the total refund you receive.
Original shipping costs are non-refundable and the buyer is responsible for return shipping charges. ECS Tuning will not accept COD deliveries.
All in store credit balances will expire after one year from the original purchase date.
