On many MK8 Golf Rs and S3s, the transmission computer is locked, forcing most tuners to reduce output or force “low-torque files” to ensure smooth shifts. iE wrote custom code to force the transmission to safely accept more torque from the engine side. This custom code bypasses torque limiters and safely increases hydraulic pressures to increase clutch capacity without a transmission tune. Full power, no compromises.
