STAGE 2

IE Stage 2 ECU tune is the next step of power and delivers the most performance potential available from your stock engine and turbocharger from an upgraded performance downpipe. Maximum torque and horsepower gains are realized across the powerband with 91 or 93 octane fuel for up to 290HP and 350ft-lbs!

K04 TURBO UPGRADE

Upgrading the turbocharger to a BorgWarner K04 boosts your car to the next level, delivering up to 391HP & 398TQ! IE's TSI K04 Turbo Tune has been obsessively perfected to unleash the full potential of your turbo upgrade while remaining factory-like comfort with your choice of 91, 93, or 100 octane. Get ready to spin those tires with an addictive power and torque gain!

INTAKE MANIFOLD TUNES

This free option is included with any Stage 1, Stage 2, or K04 Tune purchase and is for owners who have installed an IE Performance Intake Manifold (Sold Separately). IE manifold software fine-tunes the ECU calibration to match the manifold plenum and runner flow characteristics along with special tuning for the removed runner flaps. Upgrading the intake manifold is perfect for those with failed runner flaps, cracked plastic manifolds, improved engine bay looks, or an easy base for water/methanol injection kits.

EXHAUST CRACKLE

Give your Audi turbocharged engine an aggressive sporty sound. This fun feature is guaranteed to make you smile when you rev, decelerate, or let off the throttle for gear changes. This exhaust crackle is completely safe and entirely addicting.

Your iE TCU tune enhances shift speeds, eliminates torque limiters, increases line pressure to prevent transmission slip, and introduces user-adjustable launch control function.

ADJUSTABLE LAUNCH CONTROL

The iE transmission tune features adjustable launch control in three distinct launch options: street, aggressive, and race. Each option increases the launch RPMs so you can tailor your launch to fit your vehicle and tire setup for ideal grip and take-off power.

 Launch settings offer RPM launch that’s easily controlled with the throttle pedal:

Apply 100% throttle input without engaging the kickdown switch to launch from the minimal chosen RPM.

Engage full pedal pressure while activating the kickdown switch to launch with an additional 400RPMs, delivering the most aggressive launch and pull strategy

OPTIMIZED SHIFT POINTS

The iE TCU Tune remaps each gear's RPM limits to match the stock turbo or K04 boost delivery for the fastest possible acceleration. By shifting at the exact optimal point per gear, this keeps the engine in peak torque/power output. This strategy pulls the car through the powerband as quickly as possible with incredible improvements in acceleration and G's.

DRIVING ENHANCEMENTS

iE's TCU tune transmission drive-mapping strategy has been designed specifically with the enthusiast driver in mind. Additional features aimed at optimizing your driving experience include:

• Reduced take-off lag time from a standstill
• Increases protection by automatically reducing engine power if transmission temperatures climb too high

User adjustable launch control is only available to cars that came with factory launch control. Early model ZF8's did not come equipped with this.
