First things first, the color. These LED strips give off a very vibrant Frosted White, a 5500K rating on the lighting color scale. A phosphorous silicone coating on the front face of the XSB 3.0 Halos gives them a neutral white when turned off and, when turned on, an amazing, uniform intensity. 

Next? Mounting. You don't want to have to add a ton of glue to your headlight housings that is just going to yellow and eventually lose its adhesion because of changing temperatures causing the glue to crack and degrade. But, you also don't want an ugly amount of wire wrapped around your led strip, obviously tied to holes drilled in your lighting shrouds. To help keep everything as clean as possible, the back of these halos included three integrated micro-mounts. This enables you to fasten them in any way you see fit without an obvious amount of custom work showing through!

Finally, the function. These halos are built with an in-line Switchback controller that gives these the ability illuminate a bright Amber color. There are 3 main cables that connect to the halo. A black ground wire, an orange wire for the Amber function, and a white wire for the Frosted White function. Connect the white wire to a steady 12V power source such as a power wire for DRL's and the orange wire to the power wire for the turn signal, and you now have a bright Frosted White halo that turns Amber and blinks when the turn signal is activated. Want Amber or Frosted White permanently? Simply connect the specified wires to a power source and leave the other wire capped and tucked away out of sight.
