The PowerStop Z23 Evolution Sport Brake Upgrade Kit (K8442) is the high-performance friction solution designed for the heavy-hitting 2019 BMW X6 xDrive50i. For the final year of the F16 chassis, the 50i models utilized massive braking hardware to control the 445hp twin-turbo V8. This kit replaces your high-dust factory pads and blank rotors with a setup engineered to handle the kinetic energy of a 5,000lb SAV while keeping your expensive alloy wheels pristine.
Performance & Technical Highlights
Z23 Carbon-Fiber Ceramic Formula: This kit features a proprietary carbon-infused ceramic compound. Unlike standard ceramic pads, the Z23 provides an aggressive initial bite and higher thermal stability, virtually eliminating the "fade" that can occur during rapid deceleration from highway speeds.
Precision-Drilled Cooling: The 365mm front rotors are cross-drilled to allow for rapid heat dissipation. This is a critical upgrade for the X6 50i, as it reduces the risk of rotor warping during heavy use.
De-Gassing Rounded Slots: The rounded slots on the rotor surface act as a "scraper" to prevent pad glazing and sweep away gas, dust, and moisture. This ensures a clean contact patch and a firm, consistent pedal feel in all weather conditions.
Silver Zinc Plating: To preserve the executive look of your F16, the rotors are treated with a silver zinc plating that prevents unsightly rust on the hats and internal cooling vanes.
Low-Dust Maintenance: Validated by 3rd party testing to produce significantly less dust than BMW OEM pads, protecting the finish of 20" and 21" wheels.
This kit is designed for the standard 50i brakes. It is not compatible with the X6M or vehicles retrofitted with the "M-Performance" Big Brake Kit (identifiable by 395mm front rotors and blue/red calipers).

New/Unused Product Returns
ECS Tuning will accept returns for unused products within 90 days of the ship date for a refund to the original payment method used. The customer is responsible for the return shipping costs and fees. If selecting to use a prepaid shipping label, the shipping cost will be deducted from the total refunded amount. All new/unused products must be new, unused and must be in the original packaging, including labeling, manuals, hardware, etc. Special order parts are non-refundable.
In the event that we find an error on our website or on behalf of an ECS Tuning Representative, we will provide a return shipping label from the original delivery location.
Refused Packages
Any domestic orders that are returned to ECS Tuning as refused by receiver or non-deliverable will be subject to a return handling fee and will be processed as a return in compliance with our standard return policy, including a 15% restocking fee.
Any international orders that are refused at the time of delivery will be subject to carrier abandonment of the package, at which time the ordered products would be discarded by the carrier. The customer will not be refunded for the value of the order and the discarded products are no longer retrievable.

Please note: Refunds will be processed to the original payment method used on the order or to an in store credit, respective to the type of return that is made as well as any pre-existing arrangements with an ECS Tuning Customer Service Representative. In the event that multiple forms of payment were used, we will refund the value to an in store credit. In the event that a return label is provided, these charges may be deducted from the total refund you receive.
Original shipping costs are non-refundable and the buyer is responsible for return shipping charges. ECS Tuning will not accept COD deliveries.
All in store credit balances will expire after one year from the original purchase date.
