The PowerStop Z23 Evolution Sport Brake Upgrade Kit (KC4103) is the definitive solution for 2007–2008 BMW 328xi owners who missed the early-production cutoff. This kit is specifically engineered for the "Late 2007" transition, featuring the larger internal parking brake drum required for post-09/2006 builds. By replacing your aging, silver-gray factory sliders with professionally remanufactured red calipers and high-performance friction, you resolve the common E90 issues of soft pedal feel, excessive dust, and unsightly hub rust.
The "Late-2007" Performance Package
Carbon-Fiber Ceramic Pads: The Z23 pads are a proprietary hybrid that offers the aggressive initial bite of a performance pad with the low-dust, low-noise manners of a luxury ceramic. Perfect for maintaining clean wheels on your daily-driven xDrive.
Thermal Management for AWD: The 328xi carries extra weight over the front axle. These rotors are precision-drilled for maximum cooling and rounded-slotted to sweep away gas and moisture, ensuring a clean contact patch even during repetitive high-speed stops.
Bengal Red Powder-Coated Calipers: Each kit features remanufactured OE-spec calipers finished in a high-gloss, electrostatic red powder coat. This finish is significantly more durable than paint, resisting road salt and chemical corrosion.
185mm E-Brake Integration: Unlike the KC4102 kit, the KC4103 rotors feature the larger 185mm internal diameter specifically for the updated parking brake shoes found on post-September 2006 builds.
This kit uses 300mm front and 300mm rear rotors with a 185mm parking brake drum. If your car was built on or before 09/2006, you must use the KC4102 kit to ensure your emergency brake functions correctly.

New/Unused Product Returns
ECS Tuning will accept returns for unused products within 90 days of the ship date for a refund to the original payment method used. The customer is responsible for the return shipping costs and fees. If selecting to use a prepaid shipping label, the shipping cost will be deducted from the total refunded amount. All new/unused products must be new, unused and must be in the original packaging, including labeling, manuals, hardware, etc. Special order parts are non-refundable.
In the event that we find an error on our website or on behalf of an ECS Tuning Representative, we will provide a return shipping label from the original delivery location.
Refused Packages
Any domestic orders that are returned to ECS Tuning as refused by receiver or non-deliverable will be subject to a return handling fee and will be processed as a return in compliance with our standard return policy, including a 15% restocking fee.
Any international orders that are refused at the time of delivery will be subject to carrier abandonment of the package, at which time the ordered products would be discarded by the carrier. The customer will not be refunded for the value of the order and the discarded products are no longer retrievable.

To get started, simply log into your ECS Tuning account, Click the "View Orders" button on the My Account home page and select the order that you wish to make a return on to begin. Please note: Refunds will be processed to the original payment method used on the order or to an in store credit, respective to the type of return that is made as well as any pre-existing arrangements with an ECS Tuning Customer Service Representative. In the event that multiple forms of payment were used, we will refund the value to an in store credit. In the event that a return label is provided, these charges may be deducted from the total refund you receive.
Original shipping costs are non-refundable and the buyer is responsible for return shipping charges. ECS Tuning will not accept COD deliveries.
All in store credit balances will expire after one year from the original purchase date.
