This product provides maximum flow, lower current draw, and fuel pressure regulation in a single package, making it an ideal choice for any fuel type.
- Improved Design and Performance
The V2 In-Tank Fuel Filter & Regulator is an updated version of our original design. Since the development of the V1 unit, we've gained extensive knowledge on optimizing fuel systems. Consequently, we've replaced the V1 with the V2, incorporating all the enhancements we’ve learned to maximize performance.
### Modular and High Flow
This unit is modular and designed for high flow, ensuring compatibility with almost any configuration. It comes standard with a 5 bar 1:1 boost-referenced regulator that is preset and compatible with stock fuel lines or upgraded lines that connect to the stock filter regulator unit. This allows for a quick and straightforward installation, similar to replacing the stock unit. For optimal performance, our fuel lines are recommended.
- Easy Integration and Customization
For those looking for a simple and accurate way to add a regulator at the fuel rail, our high flow static regulator add-on allows you to move the regulator to the fuel rail, the most ideal location. No complex installation or programming is required; just connect the static regulator and fuel lines to your existing port fuel rail and back to our in-tank filter solution.
For those who want all the features, our 1:1 boost-referenced regulator add-on mounts in the engine bay and integrates seamlessly with our in-tank filter regulator assembly. This fully adjustable regulator allows you to dial in the exact pressure you want to target. However, it’s intended for race applications and lacks a check valve, which can result in longer cranking cycles or rough idle when starting the car.
- Enhanced Flow Performance
The V2 assembly significantly improves fuel flow from your tank to the front of the car while reducing current draw, helping to extend the life of your factory pump controller (EKP). Our data shows a 37% increase in flow at 72psi compared to a new OEM unit. For context, a Walbro 450 flows about 318lph at 70 psi, while a Walbro 535 flows about 418lph, a 31% increase. Our filter/regulator offers a more substantial gain than upgrading from a 450 to a 535, and stacking our filter/regulator with a Walbro 535 fuel pump combines the gains of both for a powerful single pump low-pressure solution. With our engine bay-mounted regulator options, the flow increases by 100%, enabling a single 450 pump to match the flow of twin 450s on the stock filter/regulator.
- Increased Fuel Capacity
For dual pump setups, the flow increase is even more significant. On the bench, we observed a 43% increase in flow at 72psi over the stock units, providing more fuel than three Walbro 450s through the factory filter/regulator assembly. This increased flow comes with a reduced current draw, dropping to 36.86 amps from 39.7 amps. With our engine bay regulator options, you see a 99% increase in flow, doubling the fuel delivered compared to a stock filter/regulator with twin Walbro 450s.
- Electrical Benefits
Even if you don't need more fuel, the V2 assembly offers significant electrical benefits. It reduces the current draw to your EKP, lowering it by about 1/2 an amp compared to the stock unit while flowing 37% more fuel. Since these cars have a closed-loop fuel system, the extra fuel isn’t always needed, allowing the pump to run at lower speeds and further reducing current draw. This efficiency reduces the likelihood of EKP failures, a common issue with these cars.

New/Unused Product Returns
ECS Tuning will accept returns for unused products within 90 days of the ship date for a refund to the original payment method used. The customer is responsible for the return shipping costs and fees. If selecting to use a prepaid shipping label, the shipping cost will be deducted from the total refunded amount. All new/unused products must be new, unused and must be in the original packaging, including labeling, manuals, hardware, etc. Special order parts are non-refundable.
In the event that we find an error on our website or on behalf of an ECS Tuning Representative, we will provide a return shipping label from the original delivery location.
Refused Packages
Any domestic orders that are returned to ECS Tuning as refused by receiver or non-deliverable will be subject to a return handling fee and will be processed as a return in compliance with our standard return policy, including a 15% restocking fee.
Any international orders that are refused at the time of delivery will be subject to carrier abandonment of the package, at which time the ordered products would be discarded by the carrier. The customer will not be refunded for the value of the order and the discarded products are no longer retrievable.

To get started, simply log into your ECS Tuning account, Click the "View Orders" button on the My Account home page and select the order that you wish to make a return on to begin. Please note: Refunds will be processed to the original payment method used on the order or to an in store credit, respective to the type of return that is made as well as any pre-existing arrangements with an ECS Tuning Customer Service Representative. In the event that multiple forms of payment were used, we will refund the value to an in store credit. In the event that a return label is provided, these charges may be deducted from the total refund you receive.
Original shipping costs are non-refundable and the buyer is responsible for return shipping charges. ECS Tuning will not accept COD deliveries.
All in store credit balances will expire after one year from the original purchase date.
