TuneZilla strives for an OEM level of drivability and reliability. Their team of Calibrators from around the world painstakingly work to deliver repeatable performance on all of their tunes. One of the major differences between TuneZilla tunes and most of their competitors tunes is the linear, OEM like throttle response. Where some software tuners increase throttle response to mask the actual output of their tunes by giving a very peaky feeling under acceleration, TuneZilla's tunes are designed to make the most usable and consistent power curve possible to maintain a strong pull without a heavy fall off midway through the power band. All while generating peak power as early as possible in the RPM range. Most off the shelf tunes advertise an attractive peak power figure, but suffer from a sudden drop in torque and a lower torque curve throughout the remainder of the RPM range.

TuneZilla's DSG tune is a complete re-work of the factory DSG settings. They’ve worked to bring you a perfect all around package that enhances drivability and increases enjoyment. In manual mode, you have full control of your upshifts with the “auto up-shift” disabled. Clutch pressure is increased across all drive modes to handle the increased torque from the Stage 1 or 2 files, but still works with a factory tuned ECU for users who simply demand a more spirited transmission than the factory supplied.

Because not every driver drives the same, TuneZilla designed two versions of their TCU tune for the DQ250. While competitors may only offer one style of DSG tune based on their own driving preferences, TuneZilla sees requests from customers that prefer a more "daily drivable" Sport mode and others that prefer to have their Sport mode be more aggressive and allow them to stay closer to peak torque in every gear (to reduce the need for a gear kick-down when accelerating hard).

TuneZilla's solution is to provide their TCU tune in two versions:

• Autobahn: The Autobahn is a more compliant Sport mode for highway or city driving. When cruising at a constant speed and a medium-low RPM/Throttle position the Autobahn S-Mode will engage the next gear to bring RPM down and provide a more comfortable driving experience when highway or city driving.
• Nur-Spec: The Nur-Spec S-Mode has a more aggressive shift behavior for spirited or track driving. In S-Mode, when driving at a constant and medium-low RPM/Throttle position, Nur-Spec will remain in gear until a higher RPM or throttle input is reached.

Required:

After flashing your TCU,  if the Flashzilla Pro fails to reset the adaptations, you must Reset the following parameters in your TCU basic settings using VCDS or similar:

• Reset Clutch Characteristic
• Reset Logging Data for Clutch 1
• Reset Logging Data for Clutch 2

These parameters must be reset otherwise clutch pressures will not increase.

Notes:

• D-Mode parameters are the same between Autobahn and Nur-Spec. Only the S-Mode parameters are changed.
• Nur-Spec is modeled after European driving styles with higher speed limits.
• Autobahn is generally more popular for North American (daily driving situations)
• Both versions are included in the purchase price of the Stage 1/2 DSG tune.

Increase rear wheel torque transfer and traction with TuneZilla's Haldex Tune for the Gen 5 OCQ.

During testing, TuneZilla's development vehicle improved 60 foot times to 1.53sec (on street tires) when paired with their optional Haldex Spring Upgrade (and Stage 3 ECU and TCU tunes). When tested on drag radials, the 60 foot time further improved to 1.50sec.

With this software, you can optimize the performance of the Haldex system in your car. The software can set the oil pump to its maximum DC capacity during heavy load conditions.

The software smoothly controls the oil pump and adjusts its operating force, which in turn affects the force of the Haldex clutch, based on the vehicle's current situation (calm driving, dynamic driving, or launch control).

This ensures your system won't be overloaded when there's no need for high settings.

It is ideal for all users and for every situation the vehicle might encounter. The software can function like the stock file of your factory controller but can also boost its operating power by up to +/-40%.

After a Haldex reflash, it's essential to recalibrate the oil pump, using tools like VCDS or OBDeleven.
