When careful interrogation of the usual suspects doesn't identify the perp stealing your coolant, you need a fresh approach. That's why we've put together a repair solution to correct chronic coolant leaks at the rear flange on 1.8Ts. Out of sight, this plastic flange is wedged between the rear of the engine and the firewall. As it warps from heat, a slow dribble of coolant bleeds the system, leaving you to fill the coolant jug--over and over again.
