H&R sway bars are cold-formed and heat-treated, with forged seamless bar ends. Each bar is shot-peened to improve durability, checked for dimensional correctness, and powder coated. H&R sway bar bushings are made of a special urethane/Teflon compound to eliminate squeaks and groans, and never need lubrication. Larger diameter sway bars drastically reduce body roll, increase lateral stiffness, and improve handling. To give you added peace of mind, H&R sway bars are 100% German made at the H&R ISO9001-certified manufacturing facility.

The lowered ride height achieved by upgrading your factory suspension is a consequence of the modification, not its purpose. With this knowledge, you can appreciate the value of more finely wrought suspension designs, like those from ST. The ST-line Performance Coilovers utilize tempered high-strength springs, hardened chrome piston rods, and galvanized zinc-plated strut housings - a consequence of which is a powerful, aggressive stance. But the enduring value of this arrangement lay in its durability, reliability, and reverence for precise engineering.

The impact driver is a fast and effective way to remove tight or corroded screws and bolts, reducing the chance of rounding off--or rounding out--the fastener head. Insert a slotted or Phillips head screwdriver bit into the driver. Place the screwdriver bit into screw head, and strike the driver with a hammer. The impact drives the bit inward as it rotates the screw, breaking it loose. Reverse the tool to tighten fasteners. For stubborn bolts, remove the black screwdriver bit adapter head, and replace it with any 3/8 - inch drive socket.

To secure shocks and struts to their mounts, the retaining nut must be torqued to its proper specification using a torque wrench. Strut nut sockets allow for the use of an allen wrench to hold the damper shaft while utilizing your torque wrench on the socket to achieve proper torque. An improper torque value may result in premature mount failure - or worse. Some aftermarket strut nut sizes differ from what was originally found on the vehicle. Please measure your nuts to be sure - alternatively, pick up our Schwaben 5 Piece Strut Nut Socket Set and be covered for all common sizes.
