Indeed, charged air must be heavily cooled before reaching the cylinders, necessitating large intercoolers. The intake manifold contains the volume of air that your engine burns, and a newly developed method of keeping the manifold temperatures lower comes from New South Performance, in the form of their composite gaskets.
