Flushing brake fluid is a commonly overlooked maintenance service for most car owners. Fluid should be flushed every 1-2 years as a good service plan, however checking with the manufacturer's suggestions is best. A simple way to tell if the fluid is in need of a change is by looking at the color, new fluid will have a slight yellow hue while amber is the sign of a needed flush. All vehicles will lose some degree of performance due to heat soak under the right operating conditions. BMW integrated the intake air temp sensor in the MAF housing several models, including those powered by the N52. Compensating for this false hot air measurement, the ECU pulls timing and runs a richer fuel mixture, resulting in a significant loss of torque. Turner designed an IAT relocation kit that moves the intake air temp sensor to a cooler location. The result is you’ll experience reduced torque loss and more consistent power output when you’re pushing your engine hard.

Recognizing the appeal of the naturally aspirated N52 powered E9x vehicles, Turner Motorsport developed in an intake to make you fall in love with your BMW again. The N52 engine never sounded this good. Turner's intake effectively eliminates restriction caused by the factory airbox, especially in the top end. This combined with increased air flow allows for gains of up to 9 WHP and 13 WTQ down low in the power band. The hard bends in the stock hose always end up cracking and leaking, but since the water pump thermostat assembly is tucked up above the subframe, it can be difficult to pinpoint the leak. When you upgrade your OE rubber hose to the ECS aluminized silicone hose, you don't just get a longer lasting, more flexible hose, but also one that's better suited to withstand high underhood temperatures. We use silicone because of its more pliable nature as well as its resistance to heat. The next step was wrapping it with aluminum to offer further protection from the exhaust system.

If you live in an apartment or you can't get your car up on ramps or stands but want to change your oil, then this is exactly what you need. This tool enables you to drain from the dipstick tube and refill like normal, without getting under the car or fighting with drain plugs.
