Who doesn't like insurance against engine failure? N52/N54/N55/S55 BMW owners commonly experience a shredded serpentine belt, which can get sucked in through the crank seal on the front of the engine. Oil and coolant leaks are often the culprit, causing the serpentine belt to slip past the crank pulley, getting sucked in behind the harmonic balancer, moving its way past the crank seal, and ultimately ending up in the oil pan. Once belt fragments are in the pan, tiny pieces can block the oil pickup, get caught in the timing chain, or end up in your valve cover. Any and all of these scenarios cause expensive damage at best and engine failure at worst. Our engineers designed a cost-effective and reliable crank seal protection plate for N52/N54/N55/S55 BMW engines that protects the front crank seal from a shredded serpentine belt getting sucked into the engine. We recommend these as inexpensive insurance for all N52, N54, N55 and S55 owners.

Turner Motorsports new catback exhaust is designed to take out restrictions, maximize flow and give your B58 a signature exhaust note that will excite you on every drive from the time it is installed. From the factory the exhaust comes equipped with a a center muffler, rear section resonator and a bulky muffler. The combination of 3 muffler/resonators do its best to quiet down the B58 and as a side effect, increase backpressure. With all of those stop gates how do you expect to get the maximum performance out of your vehicle, you simply cannot do so. Precisely balanced turbochargers are a key critical factor to become a TTE upgrade unit as longevity and performance are paramount. Good balance improves acoustics also. Subsequent care is taken with all TTE turbochargers to achieving high balance standards. Firstly parts are balanced at slow speeds up to 2800RPM in multiple planes using a single parts machine, then components are assembled, and then the CHRA are dynamically balanced, but this time depending on the application at up to 250,000 RPM in multiple planes using an in house VSR machine to acquire the ultimate equilibrium, to a standard far higher than OEM. Each turbocharger is supplied with a serial numbered balance test result document.
