MINI R52/R53 Thermostat Housing
Do you have a leak on the driver side near the transmission and engine connection, dripping down the side of the engine? This is most likely the problem.
The housing is prone to cracking with many heat cycles and miles. Now from Vaico we have another solution.
This housing buttons up with three bolts to the side of the head and compresses the double circle gasket on the thermostat itself.
No more leaks
