The VW 1.8T relies heavily on adequate boost to make its power. In fact, for this engine, most significant power gains are achieved by optimizing its turbocharging system - either by increasing boost pressure, or by limiting air flow restrictions.
The all-new ECS-engineered Silicone Turbo Inlet hose addresses the latter, increasing air flow with a higher-volume, 3-ply silicone design.
The carefully selected silicone material is also more flexible than the factory rubber, reducing vibrations that cause premature wear, while retaining a high level of heat resistance.
