If you're building your car to be the best on the track then solid mounts are a must, they allow for the best connection between your engine to the wheels. The factory rubber bushings are designed more for comfort than performance so they allow lot's of flex and movement taking away from the direct line of power transfer. Rubber bushings on a track will wear out quickly with the harsh driving conditions and allow a flex that will create extreme changes in the alignment. Using solid mounts on the E46 M3 also prevents the rear subframe failure that's common to the E46 M3 as the sheet metal chassis will no longer flex along with the rubber mount. All of our bushings are designed by our in-house R&D engineers, with many used in professional racing series around the world. Depending on the bushing's intended purpose, the material we use is either aluminum or Delrin. Delrin is a dense plastic material that has almost zero deflection and long life. Self lubricating materials are used so you'll never need to grease or lube these bushings again.
