The problem is widespread and chronic: cam followers for the high pressure fuel pump in FSI engines are prone to wear. Savvy FSI owners periodically pull the pump and check the follower to avoid costly fuel pump and camshaft damage. Symptoms of a failing cam follower include loss of power, rough running, and an illuminated check engine light. To help you understand and mitigate the problem, we've put together a photo tutorial that demonstrates how to inspect and replace your cam follower. Use it with our handy repair kit to keep your FSI running strong.

Innovative flywheel options are now available to Audi B8 2.0T owners. The ECS engineered Lightweight Flywheel weighs in at 17.8lbs versus the factory 26.5lb - a staggering 8.7lbs of weight savings. A decreased mass means a lower moment of inertia, allowing your engine to rev much more quickly - improving acceleration. Heat treated and black zinc plated for corrosion resistance and durability, the ECS unit is a model of engineering precision. Multiple complete clutch kits are also available, with torque ratings ranging from 320ft/lbs to 440ft/lbs.

Over time your wipers start moving slower and start to skip until the linkage freezes up. Occasionally, simply replacing wiper blades is not enough to keep your windshield reliably clean. If the transmission or linkage is damaged, your wiper action may slow or begin skipping, until eventually the motor spins freely, ceasing wiper arm movement entirely. Changing the windshield wiper transmission allows for a secure connection between the motor and wipers, giving you peace of mind that your Audi is safe and reliable.

Check out the OEM 710N diverter valve for your Audi. Keep your boost inside the intake - where it belongs. Cure common driveability concerns with this stronger, more durable 710N valve. Diverter valves live in a tough neighborhood. By definition, they limit turbo boost, and most eventually fail due to a pin-hole or tear in the valve diaphragm. The 710N Valve is a diaphragm-based, factory upgrade for a lot of applications. The 710N valve was originally found on the TT225, and is known to have a tougher internal diaphragm that can withstand higher boost levels.

When the 2.0T engine was introduced, the rubber diaphragm in the original diverter valve failed regularly, even at stock boost levels. The improved Pierburg diverter valve has a piston valve design that eliminates the original, failure-prone rubber diaphragm. This mechanical design is more durable and is an excellent upgrade for all stock or modified 2.0T FSI & TSI engines. Spend more time driving, less time fixing!

Turbo compressor surge is a harmful effect of boost pressure that is not released when the throttle body plate is closed. Thankfully Audi implemented a diverter valve to relieve pressure and keep your turbocharger safe. Over time your diverter valve can show signs of weakness and either stop working completely or leak, which both can have negative effects on your vehicle. If your diverter valve is on its last breath consider replacement sooner than later. We have a wide range of options for just about everyone's needs. We also have some great accessories as well!
