The ECS Tuning oil filter housing is an attractive, durable upgrade designed to prevent dangerous and unsightly oil leaks. When servicing your ignition system, the spark plugs and coil packs replaced should, at the least, be the same as the existing parts. DISA valves control the intake manifold runner length to improve engine performance at different rpms. When they fail, the DISA valve bangs around in its housing, making a rattling noise accompanied by rough idle and off-idle hesitation. If your BMW experiences these symptoms, don't wait to fix it. In some cases, parts of the DISA--including a metal spreader pin--can be sucked into your engine, causing serious engine damage. Left unserviced, automatic transmission fluid breaks down chemically and degrades, causing the valve body and filter to become contaminated with deposits and sludge. Within the wishbone suspension design, camber and caster are specified by the wishbones, while toe-in is secured by the trailing arm. Bushings support the trailing arms, securing them to the chassis.
