Constructed from 6061 Billet Aluminum, these mounts are built to last. While most performance drivetrain mounts feature solid or polyurethane-bonded aluminum construction, the engineers at Turner designed a unique four-piece design that disburses NVH (noise, vibration, and harshness). This multi-piece design offers the added benefit of serviceability. Additionally, encapsulating the polyurethane and adding a TecaPeek isolator prevents heat transfer to the insert, increasing the lifespan and durability of the mount.

The Turner Motorsport Performance Chassis Mount Short Shifter removes the shift carrier assembly entirely removing any prospect of flex caused by bushings or driveline movement. By contrast, this chassis mount shifter offers a drastic reduction in shift lever travel, vagueness, and side-to-side play. An elevated base allows for moving the fulcrum point upwards, resulting in a much shorter and more precise throw. Shift times are further reduced by a tall, "rally style" shift lever, used to aid in leverage while also bringing the lever closer to the steering wheel. Turner's design incorporates a proprietary centering spring design, which is adjustable for increasing or decreasing self-centering force. In short, Turner's design eliminates all the drawbacks of your factory BMW shifter, translating to more control, greater precision, shorter throws, and faster shift times.

Upgrading to the Turner Billet Differential cover gives you the strength you need to push your car to its limits without worrying about snapping a diff mount from clutch kicking or other shocks to the drivetrain. Turner designed their short shifter for all drivers. The weekend warriors, the trackday monsters, and even the daily drivers. They wanted to make something that made sense for any BMW enthusiast. For those who want to drive your car to the track, drive some hotlaps, and then drive back home, they developed a rally lever extension. Their rally lever extension allows you to keep your hands close to the steering wheel through shifts, in efforts to quicken shifts and reaction times on the track. The rally lever comes off and on in seconds with the unique locking design they engineered.

Who doesn't like insurance against engine failure? N52/N54/N55/S55 BMW owners commonly experience a shredded serpentine belt, which can get sucked in through the crank seal on the front of the engine. Oil and coolant leaks are often the culprit, causing the serpentine belt to slip past the crank pulley, getting sucked in behind the harmonic balancer, moving its way past the crank seal, and ultimately ending up in the oil pan. Once belt fragments are in the pan, tiny pieces can block the oil pickup, get caught in the timing chain, or end up in your valve cover. Any and all of these scenarios cause expensive damage at best and engine failure at worst. Our engineers designed a cost-effective and reliable crank seal protection plate for N52/N54/N55/S55 BMW engines that protects the front crank seal from a shredded serpentine belt getting sucked into the engine. We recommend these as inexpensive insurance for all N52, N54, N55 and S55 owners.

Precisely balanced turbochargers are a key critical factor to become a TTE upgrade unit as longevity and performance are paramount. Good balance improves acoustics also. Subsequent care is taken with all TTE turbochargers to achieving high balance standards. Firstly parts are balanced at slow speeds up to 2800RPM in multiple planes using a single parts machine, then components are assembled, and then the CHRA are dynamically balanced, but this time depending on the application at up to 250,000 RPM in multiple planes using an in house VSR machine to acquire the ultimate equilibrium, to a standard far higher than OEM. Each turbocharger is supplied with a serial numbered balance test result document. Note: Not for sale or use in the state of California on any pollution-controlled vehicle as per the California Air Resources Board.
