Recognizing the appeal of the compound turbo M57 powered E90 vehicles, Turner Motorsport developed in an intake to make you fall in love with your BMW again. The M57 engine never sounded this good. Turner's intake effectively eliminates restriction caused by the factory airbox, especially in the top end. Intake port media blaster decarboning kit. These are the DIY (Do It Yourself) kits that will allow you to effectively clean and de-carbon the intake ports and intake valves on your BMW engine, saving you hundreds of dollars over having this service done at the BMW dealer. Use of this kit requires a medium sized air compressor (suggested minimum 20-30 gallon tank, 4.0 CFM @ 90psi), common "shop vac" and full hearing and eye protection. Cars, for me, have always been an avenue for self-expression. They're a blank canvas to create a piece of art. I need to choose a platform that offers several options for parts and customization, but I also have to like the aesthetics of that car. These things combined give me the best opportunity to build something unique. I always look through online catalogs for parts and picture a basic idea of what I want out of a build before I purchase the vehicle. My advice to fellow enthusiasts out there: follow your gut. Don't just do something because you think others will like it.

I wanted an N54-powered BMW since they came out in 2007. In 2017, I hunted for a manual with AWD. Initially, I decided to keep the car stock, but that didn't last. First came MHD software, then intake and exhaust mods to add a bit more power. Soon after, I found the stepped intercooler, which fits behind the bumper and looks OEM. When my stock turbos started leaking oil, I opted for the largest OEM-location turbos I could without going for a big single turbo and have maxed out the stock injectors. Now, what was supposed to be a stock 335xi dynos at 568whp. Oops.

With a high-strung S54 inline six under the hood, a manual 6-speed transmission, LSD rear end, and competent suspension, the E46 M3 is a great platform out of the box. That isn’t to say it can’t be improved, however, which is exactly what we did. Below, we’ve listed everything we upgraded on the M3 before it was delivered to the lucky new owner who is surely enjoying our tasteful upgrades provided by our partners that help bring out the full potential of this incredible machine.

As these vehicles age, the differential bushings tend to show signs of stress and deterioration resulting in bushing deflection and excess drivetrain movement. The differential sits directly between your gas pedal and the wheels, so these bushings play a critical role in the responsiveness of your drivetrain. The rubber "U" shaped hose connecting the water pump to the thermostat is a well-known failure point.
