Precisely balanced turbochargers are a key critical factor to become a TTE upgrade unit as longevity and performance are paramount. Good balance improves acoustics also. Subsequent care is taken with all TTE turbochargers to achieving high balance standards. Firstly parts are balanced at slow speeds up to 2800RPM in multiple planes using a single parts machine, then components are assembled, and then the CHRA are dynamically balanced, but this time depending on the application at up to 250,000 RPM in multiple planes using an in house VSR machine to acquire the ultimate equilibrium, to a standard far higher than OEM. Each turbocharger is supplied with a serial numbered balance test result document. This tool enables you to drain from the dipstick tube and refill like normal, without getting under the car or fighting with drain plugs. Not only is it convenient it's also efficient: most cars leave oil in the pan when being drained from the plug�sometimes up to a half quart. These are the DIY (Do It Yourself) kits that will allow you to effectively clean and de-carbon the intake ports and intake valves on your BMW engine, saving you hundreds of dollars over having this service done at the BMW dealer. The 435i was my introduction to forced induction BMWs - I wanted to buy something "more reliable" than the N54, but still wanted a turbo BMW. After looking for a white M-Sport manual transmission 435i, I found this one and purchased it sight unseen from California. My interest in cars is rooted in "stance" culture, so my 435i ended up less than practical, but it is still a blast to drive and easy on the eyes.

With a high-strung S54 inline six under the hood, a manual 6-speed transmission, LSD rear end, and competent suspension, the E46 M3 is a great platform out of the box. That isn’t to say it can’t be improved, however, which is exactly what we did.
