The Heater Hose Junction 'T' Fitting is located behind the engine, against the firewall at the junction for the heater core hoses. Because the part is made from plastic, it very poorly resists heat cycling, resulting in a tendency to crack over time. This presents a great risk to your engine, as coolant can leak suddenly, causing a spike in engine temperatures.
