I bought this MK4 as a project in 2018. The only thing not missing was the engine. The exhaust, interior, hood, headlights, taillights, suspension, brakes, hubs, and bearings were all absent. The car was a rolling shell that was parted out and headed to a scrap yard before I saved it. Once I confirmed it ran, I started to fire the parts cannon at it. I found a MK4 part out thread, ordered the rest from ECS, and started piecing this MK4 back together. I have spent more than I should have on an old MK4, but I enjoyed saving it, making it run, drive, and perform better than ever.

Gary, a member of our R&D team, prefers an OEM plus aesthetic on his vehicles - which makes for a very clean and unassuming build. His low-mile Candy White Mk6 GTI quickly went from a tame daily driver to an aggressive three-season handling machine. While no modified car is ever "done", we think this example is pretty complete.

This MK6 Jetta 2.5 was my first car, and it's been what has motivated me to learn how to work on, maintain, and modify cars. The connections I've made in the VW community and the experience of learning more about cars are as much a part of it as the car itself. The only thing better than the community is how much I love the sound of an inline 5!

After turning my MK5 R32 into purely a summer/weekend car I needed a new daily. Lucky for me the newest chassis of Jetta had just landed and touted 45mpg! Knowing ECS would take an interest I decided to buy it hoping I'd get some goodies. Boy was I right. ECS outfitted Rhonda with their full carbon kit (wing, diffuser, front lip, fog flares) along with installing a set of Solo-werks S1 coils and Borla's dual-quad tipped exhaust specifically designed to fit ECS's diffuser. Then I threw some Rotiform LAS-R's on her and boom that's one good-looking daily!

Louise was the solution to needing a winter vehicle since my old E39 was too low to drive around Ohio in the snow. After the first year or so, I began to see the potential of this little car. Thus began the modding. It started like usual with coils and wheels but as time went on I wanted something that could be track capable. Beefing up tires, brakes, sway bars, bushing, mounts, and other areas helped give this car the insanely planted driving experience I was after. Now it's the fun and peppy summer/weekend car I always wanted and each blip of the throttle keeps me smiling.

With a high-strung S54 inline six under the hood, a manual 6-speed transmission, LSD rear end, and competent suspension, the E46 M3 is a great platform out of the box. That isn’t to say it can’t be improved, however, which is exactly what we did. The MK6 was a welcomed change from the MK5 styling, which we were more than happy to make our own with this MK6 GTI. Our MK6 GTI features a Genuine European VW front end conversion to mimic the MK6 R body, which we imported and converted before the USA received the R version of the chassis. While it's still front wheel drive, our MK6 GTI puts down plenty of power and looks good doing it thanks to the many in-house developed upgrades we've added, like our ECS Coilovers, Tekniform Wheels, and engine performance upgrades. Unpopular opinion: we love the MK5 platform.
