I always knew I would be into cars but I didn't know it would become a passion till I started working here. I wasn't raised around cars but my friends slowly suckered me into modifying my daily and then I bought my project MK3 VR6 in 2019. It's been a rollercoaster of maintenance, modding, and fixing issues while learning along the way but I wouldn't change anything because in the end, it's passion over profit.

The factory rear subframes in the VW MK5, MK6, and MK7 are perfectly capable of withstanding everyday commutes but are woefully ill-prepared to handle beefier sway bars, stiffer suspension components, and aggressive driving. We found a sturdier solution: With the ECS Rear Subframe Brace you can reinforce the subframe at the sway mounting points to ensure the added pressures of hard driving and stiffer components will be deflected through our brace rather than deflecting the rear subframe.

Purchased 650 miles away from home while vacationing in S.C. by our VW Project Coordinator's father, it was one of the first Limestone Gray Metallic MK7 Golf R's available (it is #342 of 1,767 units built in 2015). Immediately after returning home it received a full detail, oil change and ceramic coating. This exact vehicle helped bring life to the many ECS products for the MK7 R community. It is as showroom-ready as a MK7 R can get, having only 9,600 miles on it as of October 2021. It gets out only for car shows and drag races, having gone a best time of 11.71 @ 116.45mp (1.72 60').

I've always felt like the MK6 Gen3 GLI was an underrated platform, so in 2018 I purchased one and started making my vision for the car a reality. We regularly use my GLI for product development for the platform. It sports our rear diffuser, adjustable damping coilovers, front and rear sway bars, and more parts we're actively testing. Our unique aesthetic upgrades set the car apart from the crowd. The brakes, suspension, engine, exhaust, and software upgrades make for a refined and aggressive driving experience that puts a smile on my face every single time.

The MK4 VW platform has always been a favorite of mine thanks to it's chiseled good looks and premium interior. I purchased an �04 Jetta Wagon 1.8T Manual when I was in college in 2012. Two years later I upgraded to an �03 Jetta Wagon TDI Manual with the coveted ALH TDI engine. I got a Malone Stage 1 tune for it right away in order to wake it up a little bit!Thanks to my long commute, I've been fortunate enough to test many in-house designed ECS products. I had purchased this car in March of 2016 as a barely running project with no interior and a laundry list of issues. Over the years I have slowly but surely made it something similar to what I had in my head. Most people are confused about the way the setup is but I'm perfectly okay with it. It's been autocrossed, drag raced, hard parked, blown up, and much more but it still keeps going. Tyler purchased this once VW dealer shop parts car out of New Mexico in June of 2019. Over time it has become less of a daily and more of a fun backroads car. With less power than a Honda Civic, and adding some select exhaust mods and a tune, it will now overcome a few grocery getters. If you type in VW commercial the most popular results are still the "Un-Pimp Your Auto" from the mid 2000s when the MK5 was launched! That marketing hooked me! So naturally when I had the opportunity to buy a low mileage Fahrenheit Edition I jumped on it. My Fahrenheit is #254 of 1,200 and I have owned it since 2015. It was relatively stock when I picked it up, but it didn't stay that way for long. I immediately did coilovers, wheels, intake, tune, full 3" exhaust & upgraded fuel pump. We have used it as a development car for multiple ECS Products!

I'm Tyler, our Videographer, and I drive a 2018 Volkswagen Tiguan SE. I fell into being an enthusiast by accident. I used to think cars and car guys were the worst. But when I accepted my position here at ECS, I knew I had to step up my car game. Being pretty tall, I picked up this Tiguan because it was a Volkswagen with legroom that shares a bunch with the MK7 GTI platform, so I don't have to keep it stock and boring or fold myself up to drive it. I have grown to love my tig (Tig Notaro, the notorious T.I.G.) and have enjoyed watching it change into what I envisioned.

ECS"s Racewagen! Known for its trip across South America, then transformed into a track car, this MK7 GTI has been around the world. Literally. Our very own shop MK4 20th 1.8T that sits on Airlift Performance suspension and can be seen on an assortment of wheel options, ranging from our Alzor wheel line to Rotiforms, 3SDM, and more. This MK4 is one of the 20th Anniversary special edition GTI's that pays homage to the introduction of the Golf for the American market and features the iconic 'Rabbit' badge on the back just like the first Golfs/Rabbits we received in the states.
