Audi 3.0T ECS Billet Aluminum Thermostats
From the factory, Audi's 3.0T engine is equipped with a plastic thermostat housing. While sufficient when new, its plastic construction is prone to degradation over time. After enduring thousands of heat cycles and consistent exposure to chemical-rich antifreeze, the housing becomes brittle and begins to crack. Once the material is compromised, it can lead to a significant coolant leak, which, if left unchecked, may result in overheating and severe engine damage. This is especially problematic for the supercharged 3.0T, where maintaining proper engine temperature is critical for both performance and longevity. Our engineers set out to fix this issue with the ECS Billet Aluminum Thermostat Upgrade, engineered for enhanced durability, efficiency, and reliability. This precision-machined 6061 T6 billet aluminum thermostat replaces the failure-prone factory plastic housing, addressing one of the most common failure modes for all 3.0T supercharged engines. Designed with both performance and longevity in mind, this thermostat is the ultimate solution to overheating and coolant leaks, offering peace of mind in everyday driving and high-performance applications.
Unlike conventional one-piece rotors, this two-piece design drastically improves heat dissipation by bolting the aluminum rotor hat directly to the cast iron ring. The heat-treated rings undergo a specialized process to minimize internal stress, reducing the likelihood of cracking under extreme braking forces. Additionally, directional curved veins efficiently channel hot air away from the braking surface for faster, more consistent cooling compared to traditional straight-veined designs.
Our design starts with dual 4.25 inch air filters strategically positioned on both sides of the engine bay to make use of all available space. By increasing the volume of incoming air, this design ensures a steady, unrestricted flow to the twin-turbocharged 4.0T engine. This results in faster spool times, improved throttle response, and increased overall efficiency. The filters are fed by large, high-flowing inlets, precision crafted for an exact fit with factory turbocharger inlets. These inlets are manufactured from high-quality silicone, increasing component durability and eliminating the factory corrugated design in favor of increased airflow. To reduce intake air temperatures (IATs), our system features aluminum heat shields on both sides of the engine bay. The Luft-Technik kit includes pre-cut rubber edge trim, sealing the airboxes to the underside of the hood to prevent hot engine bay air from entering the airbox. Twin billet aluminum adapters seamlessly adapt the silicone inlets to the heat shields, providing a reliable seal that eliminates the possibility of air leaks in the intact tract.
Caleb's B9 S4
In 2023, I began searching for a new high-performance, track-capable vehicle to replace my MK6 GLI, which had since been converted into an autocross toy. I found this low-mileage 2018 B9 S4 Prestige with almost every available option at an unbelievable price, and it checked all the boxes for me. I've always felt that the aggressive styling of the B9 generation doesn't need much to stand out. However, the goal for this build was a stealthy, OEM+ look. To achieve that, I replaced the Audi rings, S4 emblems, fender badges, lower bumper grilles, window trim, bumper reflectors, and mirror caps with gloss black versions. The front grille was then swapped for an RS-style gloss black piece, and our black front lip and rear diffuser completed the look. For wheels, I partnered with Rohana Wheels to spec out a perfectly suited set of RFX13s in gloss black. Under the hood, the car boasts a full lineup of ECS performance upgrades: intake system, turbo inlet and outlet, intercooler, charge pipes, post-throttle pipes, catch can, diverter valve spacer, and more. It's lowered on our ECS lowering springs, which pair beautifully with the OEM adaptive suspension. The car is tuned by our friends at Integrated Engineering, running their Stage 2 ECU and TCU tunes, making the car absolutely RIP while maintaining all factory safety protocols. It sounds just as good as it drives, thanks to a higher-flowing cat, Supersprint downpipes, and an ECS X-pipe, all while retaining the factory valved mufflers. This car has been used in the development of several new products here in R&D, with more exciting upgrades to come.

New ECS Audi C8 RS6 / RS7 Intake System
The ECS Tuning Carbon Fiber Intake for the C8 RS6 / RS7 is not just a performance upgrade; it's a masterpiece under the hood. Our innovative design replaces the factory panel filter with dual cone filters, resulting in improved airflow and an intoxicating induction and turbo sound. The cool air travels through the cone filters into our upgraded carbon fiber turbo inlets. Our inlets feature a larger cross-sectional area than the factory inlets, removing the restrictive fins found in the OEM design to maximize airflow and let your turbos breathe freely. Additional efficiency is gained due to a lower pressure ratio by reducing inlet pressure drop. Silicone couplers connect the turbo inlets to the filters, replacing the OEM ribbed plastic tubes that cause air turbulence with a smooth, direct flow path from the filters to the turbo inlets. The heat shield is crafted from beautiful gloss carbon fiber. Sealing against the hood, the shroud seamlessly merges with the OEM ram air duct, channeling cool outside air directly to the filters.
Constructed from sturdy 3.3mm thick 5052 lightweight aluminum, our skid plate is sure to withstand harsh road conditions that your OEM plastic belly pan could not. The ECS skid plate encompasses the full length of the engine undercarriage from the front bumper cover to the front engine subframe to provide complete protection. This plate is laser cut for a perfect fit and includes all-new mounting hardware and aluminum brackets for perfect fitment and maximum security. Furthermore, our Street Shield incorporates perforations for increased cooling performance of engine oil. In short, our skid plate protects your vehicle's undercarriage and maintains factory performance and cooling, all while maximizing aerodynamics by smoothing airflow under the engine and transmission!
For this exhaust system, our goal was simple: amplify the exhilarating 4.0T exhaust note with a proper "straight pipe" cat-back exhaust system. To accomplish this goal, our engineers started by incorporating full 3" piping from downpipes to tips. We specifically designed this catback with flow in mind to ensure the exhaust would never be a restriction. Compared to the OEM 2.5" diameter exhaust piping, the 3" ECS Race Cat-Back offers a significant increase in exhaust flow and expedited exhaust gas expulsion. For exhaust construction, high-quality 304 Stainless Steel was used to ensure long-term corrosion resistance, durability, and weight reduction. Next, an optimized x-pipe was added to aid in exhaust scavenging. This x-pipe further improves the flow of this system and results in substantial horsepower and torque gains. Black chrome RS-style oval exhaust tips are included with the exhaust for OEM+ styling and precise fitment inside the factory diffuser.
Jesse's C7.5 A6 3.0T
I've always admired the timeless design of Audis-the clean lines, understated elegance, and that subtle aggression that makes them feel purposeful without ever trying too hard. When I started seriously looking for a car, I had my heart set on an A6 or A7 with the 3.0 TDI. There was something about that diesel torque and efficiency combo that just felt right. But reality had other plans. The TDI models were discontinued after 2016 in the A7 and 2017 in the A6, and after weeks of searching, I realized there were fewer for sale nationwide than fingers on one hand-and none even remotely close to home. Just as I started to consider other options, a local listing popped up for a C7.5 A6 with the 3.0 TFSI. It wasn't what I initially had in mind, but the price lined up. I went to see it, drove it, and that was it. The supercharged 3.0 TFSI absolutely did not disappoint. The way it pulled, the way it looked�it just clicked. Oh... and that sweet, sweet whine.

Mulletsport Racing B8 S4 Drift Car Build List
The B8 S4 was purchased because of ECS after maximizing a B5 A4 (fully swapped to S4 "AS4" drift car only to keep destroying multiple axles per event due to making over 500WHP and 500WTQ on the 2.7t. When ECS Tuning reached out asking if I had access to a B8 S4 Manual car to test their new bolt on RWD kit, I immediately found the cheapest buy-it-now priced S4 in the country and bought it. RWD kit was on within 12 hours of owning the car. The car has be first of its kind most of its life with me. Made great power on the 3.0T, just hated the sound of a V6 in race form. After running into limitations within the ECU/Chassis harness when trying to delete ABS. An LS3-based V8 was built and swapped in, hoping to focus on the chassis knowing I had a solid drivetrain. With traditional transmissions, the rear diff swap was required as the quattro cars from Audi turn the rear differential in the opposite direction of conventional RWD cars. A Ford 8.8 IRS was swapped in using OEM axles in the rear. Now for the 3rd time in the chassis's life I am swapping back to an Audi Motor and transmission as I have a good handle on chassis set up/angle kit. I am building a EA888 2.0t out of a B8 A4 with the power goals of 800+ WHP. This German Hot Rod is my new AS4 Drift car. I opened my own Euro Repair and Performance Shop in the summer of 2024. We have started building several EA888's for clients, I've come to love the 2.0t engines. Wanting to go back to an All Audi Drift Program, the EA888 just made sense.
Mulletsport Racing B8 A4 Drift Car Build List
Running a competition-focused B8 S4 I not only have spare parts laying around, but I wanted a car I can drive at local fun events/festival events. Something with bolt-on's only to attract more power to buy and drift Audi's. How do I get even more attention to an Audi drift car? Put 4 people in it! This 2009 Audi A4 2.0t has 4 race seats and the stock engine. K04 turbo was just installed with 034 Motorsports E85 off the shelf tune. This car features ECS parts throughout. Nothing currently custom is installed in the car, other than a tandem legal cage and soon bolt in hand brake solution. This A4 Drift Cab still has working A/c, power windows, Nav and full stereo. Nick named the Cab not for its yellow color (I always wanted an Imola S4) we have some special plans in the works for the car. A lot of this car has been built by my own shop I opened in 2024, Haus of Euro in Tempe,AZ. Most of my team here has driven the car and is actively learning how to drift in this car.

Even when new, factory-style fabric mesh-lined rubber hoses are prone to expansion under the pressure of hard braking, whether it be highway panic stops or threshold braking at the track. For enthusiasts in search of a permanent diverter valve solution, look no further than the ECS Tuning Gen3 Diverter Valve upgrade. Featuring machined 6061 billet aluminum construction, high-temperature Viton o-rings, and a diaphragm-less internal piston and spring design, our diverter valve is the ultimate upgrade in performance and durability. Unlike aftermarket vent-to-atmosphere style diverter valves, our piece is designed to fully recirculate boost for transient throttle response and reduced turbocharger lag. Utilizing billet aluminum construction for the valve's exterior eliminates the potential for cracking in the external body, exponentially increasing durability over factory plastic construction. Most importantly, eliminating the OE-style diaphragm design safeguards this valve against failure at stock or increased boost levels.
ECS Tuning's Luft-Technik heat exchanger features an aluminum tube and fin core with fabricated 5052 aluminum end tanks. The core offers a 140% increase in frontal area compared to stock heat exchanger and designed to increase power, improve efficiency, and reduce heat soak. Our engineers provided a proper fit by utilizing factory mounting locations, making installation completely reversible. Increasing the surface area by using a larger core design with dual coolant flow channels per pass, we were able to lower IAT temps by 32 degrees Fahrenheit resulting in max gains of 19 WHP and 16 WTQ!
Valve covers do exactly as the name suggests, keeping the camshaft & valves covered from outside influence while keeping engine oil in for proper lubrication. If you have a cracked or warped valve cover, common issues include engine oil leaks and, in extreme cases, a rough idle due to an improper seal of the internal engine. Be sure to replace your damaged valve covers and relieve worry about excessive leaks ruining your day.
Finished in sleek black this is an amazing looking piece that you hope no one sees after you install it! The stock chassis brace is stamped steel, ours is fully machined 6061-T6 billet aluminum and anodized black for looks and protection. 3-D scanned for exact fitment during the design process this is a true one to one bolt on to stock. What will our X-Brace do for you? Well by reducing torsional flex, our X-Brace substantially stiffens up the chassis by fully bracing the steering rack to the rear portion of the front subframe. Basically its a little blue pill for your chassis! This results in improved steering response, accuracy, and feel, along with less slop and better cornering! Lowering your Audi C7 S6/S7/RS7 or D4 A8/S8 4.0T has never been easier with our ECS Lowering Links in preset heights. These Lowering Links are a direct OE replacement of the factory height sensor links allowing you to lower your car up to 1" front and rear! Our polyurethane construction, allows these links to withstand all the elements. From the factory, Audi vehicles with Adaptive Air Suspension utilize a fixed, plastic arm connected to the frame to control the vehicle's ride height. By replacing this OE link with our adjustable lowering links, it allows for precise adjustment of the ride height of the vehicle.
