Its increased strength, longevity, and overdrive sixth gear make it a great choice for both track cars and daily drivers. Unfortunately, many of the components needed to complete this transplant have become hard to source. Despite increased demand from enthusiasts, BMW has blocked the sale of European E36 M3 parts into North America. With this in mind, the team of engineers at Turner Motorsports went to work designing a direct replacement and upgrade for the unavailable, 420G-specific shifter arm. Precision-machined from 6061-T6 billet aluminum and clear anodized, Turner's replacement carrier is durable, lightweight, and built to last. If you're experiencing electrical issues, hard starting, or flaky charging, your engine ground strap is a likely culprit. The engine ground strap is a thin, non-insulated cable that spans from the left engine mount arm to the frame horn. Despite the seemingly ordinary nature of this part, on aging chassis, it is known to cause massive headaches. Due to its non-insulated design, years of exposure to water, dirt, and road salt will cause the wire to corrode, ultimately leading to complete failure. A break in this cable will cause an open circuit, resulting in issues with the vehicle's electrical system and potentially leading to a no-start condition. The final product is finished in a brilliant silver powder coat to resist corrosion and maximize appearance. Despite being much stronger than the factory crossmember, Turner's design is dimensionally identical, ensuring a perfect fit with your six-speed swap.

Like many BMWs, the factory heat exchanger and radiator feature molded plastic end tanks common and well-documented failure point. In addition to this issue, the single-row cores are far undersized for high-horsepower, track-focused builds, measuring a measly 25mm (heat exchanger) and 34mm (radiator). With these issues in mind, we set out to offer the ultimate cooling system upgrade for the G2X B58 platform: an all-aluminum, dual-row, high-performance radiator and heat exchanger kit! Engineered in-house by our dedicated team of BMW enthusiasts, our cooling upgrade kit offers significant increases in both cooling capacity and overall system durability. To improve upon the factory design, our engineers started by addressing the weak, failure-prone plastic end tanks. Constructed from durable 6061-T6 aluminum and TIG-welded for added strength, these end tanks are guaranteed to outlast the factory design. Additionally, our proprietary end tanks feature CNC-machined billet aluminum hose connectors, flanges, and mounting brackets. This ensures seamless integration with the factory hoses, fan shroud, and accessories, providing a trouble-free fit and effortless installation. To increase the radiator's thermal capacity, we replaced the 34mm, single-row core with a dual-row, 42mm core. This increases the effective volume of the cooling system, thereby improving the radiator's ability to dissipate heat. The heat exchanger received the same 42mm dual-row core, a massive increase over the factory 25mm size. This grants lower IATs, keeping your car cooler on both the street and the track!

Replacing both throttle body actuator assemblies can prove expensive, and replacement units will experience the same failure in due time.
