When servicing your ignition system, the spark plugs and coil packs replaced should, at the least, be the same as the existing parts. Valley pan gaskets are a common failure on the M62 motors, Symptoms can include a smell of coolant regularly or a mysterious loss of coolant with no identifiable leaks.
