The ECS Tuning Carbon Fiber Intake for the C8 RS6 / RS7 is not just a performance upgrade; it's a masterpiece under the hood. For this exhaust system, our goal was simple: amplify the exhilarating 4.0T exhaust note with a proper "straight pipe" cat-back exhaust system. To accomplish this goal, our engineers started by incorporating full 3" piping from downpipes to tips. We specifically designed this catback with flow in mind to ensure the exhaust would never be a restriction. Compared to the OEM 2.5" diameter exhaust piping, the 3" ECS Race Cat-Back offers a significant increase in exhaust flow and expedited exhaust gas expulsion. My Volkswagen journey ignited with a B5.5 Passat, a car that instantly captivated me. The smooth 30V V6, married to a 5-speed manual, offered the perfect blend of comfortable backroad cruising and the thrill of a well-timed downshift. While I enjoyed the efficiency of my subsequent 2013 Jetta TDI, the allure of a spirited gasoline engine proved too strong to resist. March 2023 saw me behind the wheel of a brand new Jetta GLI, and I haven't glanced in the rearview mirror since. Some of the biggest issues when owning a BMW can come from cooling system components. Failure is seen with the plastic fittings and adapters from years of hot to cold temperature fluctuation. The N52 engine sees failure at the plastic adapter connecting the thermostat hose to the cylinder head, this adapter simply shears off at the end of the barbed fitting. Our engineering team decided a billet aluminum piece was a much better option to contend with the temperature fluctuation.

After months of hunting for a fun, budget-friendly upgrade from my MK4 Jetta, I planned to buy a MK6 GTI in cash. Tired of clapped-out listings on Marketplace, I checked out a promising ad from a local Audi dealership. I came across a listing for a manual, black, 2-door MK6 GTI at the local Audi dealership and called right away. When I arrived, they showed me a completely different car a gray, 4-door DSG. Disappointed, I was ready to leave when I spotted a black, 2-door MK6 Golf R manual, just like I wanted. The listing online was posted incorrectly! Love at first sight, I signed for it immediately. The MK6 R is criminally underrated, and in 2025 one of only a few performance cars I think you can snag for under 15k. I love the haldex All Wheel Drive, I love how aggressive the front bumper looks, and I think the MK6 R's are some of the best designed VWs ever made, inside and out. why you picked the mods you have on there I wanted to go after the performance mods first, and get the car as fast as I could on the stock turbo. Next I wanted to get it lowered and get the best fitment possible on coilovers, since bags are for groceries. It's still a work in progress, the build is never finished. I plan on getting some Rotiforms next, and an Intake manifold by IE.

Hey! I'm Nikko and I am a Sales Rep here at ECS Tuning. When I was 17 I was very blessed to have gotten the opportunity to get a 2018 340i Xdrive. This was a huge upgrade from my previous 2014 328i Xdrive which was my first car. I originally was going to do the classic "Downpipe & Tune" and leave it at that but the itch for more that most enthusiasts get hit me hard. I ended up going with a Pure 800 Turbo, meth injection, E85, the whole 9 yards. I was making around 650hp with that setup. Unfortunately, my transmission started to slip. I went ahead and got a transmission upgrade from Pure Drivetrain which was not a Pretty Penny but it was worth it in the end. I ended up getting a Speedtech Top Mount Turbo Kit, specifically a 6466 setup since "why not, I have the transmission that can hold the power now". Now I am running port injection as well with E85. I am pushing around 40PSI which is around 800hp give or take. Safe to say at this point I know these cars like the back of my hand and I would be glad to help find parts for this chassis or any German car for that matter!

A few years ago, when I was in the market for a new vehicle, I was seeking a sporty model with a manual transmission and strong aftermarket support. After considering options from Ford and Hyundai, I found that none of them quite met my criteria or offered the features I was looking for as the VW GTI did. Most of the modifications made to the vehicle are performance-oriented, as I frequently participate in track days and autocross events, though I have also made some stylistic updates.

I've always admired the timeless design of Audis-the clean lines, understated elegance, and that subtle aggression that makes them feel purposeful without ever trying too hard. When I started seriously looking for a car, I had my heart set on an A6 or A7 with the 3.0 TDI. There was something about that diesel torque and efficiency combo that just felt right. But reality had other plans. The TDI models were discontinued after 2016 in the A7 and 2017 in the A6, and after weeks of searching, I realized there were fewer for sale nationwide than fingers on one hand-and none even remotely close to home. Just as I started to consider other options, a local listing popped up for a C7.5 A6 with the 3.0 TFSI. It wasn't what I initially had in mind, but the price lined up. I went to see it, drove it, and that was it. The supercharged 3.0 TFSI absolutely did not disappoint. The way it pulled, the way it looked�it just clicked. Oh... and that sweet, sweet whine.

The B8 S4 was purchased because of ECS after maximizing a B5 A4 (fully swapped to S4 "AS4" drift car only to keep destroying multiple axles per event due to making over 500WHP and 500WTQ on the 2.7t. When ECS Tuning reached out asking if I had access to a B8 S4 Manual car to test their new bolt on RWD kit, I immediately found the cheapest buy-it-now priced S4 in the country and bought it. RWD kit was on within 12 hours of owning the car. The car has be first of its kind most of its life with me. Made great power on the 3.0T, just hated the sound of a V6 in race form. After running into limitations within the ECU/Chassis harness when trying to delete ABS. An LS3-based V8 was built and swapped in, hoping to focus on the chassis knowing I had a solid drivetrain. With traditional transmissions, the rear diff swap was required as the quattro cars from Audi turn the rear differential in the opposite direction of conventional RWD cars. A Ford 8.8 IRS was swapped in using OEM axles in the rear. Now for the 3rd time in the chassis's life I am swapping back to an Audi Motor and transmission as I have a good handle on chassis set up/angle kit. I am building a EA888 2.0t out of a B8 A4 with the power goals of 800+ WHP. This German Hot Rod is my new AS4 Drift car. I opened my own Euro Repair and Performance Shop in the summer of 2024. We have started building several EA888's for clients, I've come to love the 2.0t engines. Wanting to go back to an All Audi Drift Program, the EA888 just made sense.

Running a competition-focused B8 S4 I not only have spare parts laying around, but I wanted a car I can drive at local fun events/festival events. This 2009 Audi A4 2.0t has 4 race seats and the stock engine. K04 turbo was just installed with 034 Motorsports E85 off the shelf tune. This car features ECS parts throughout. Nothing currently custom is installed in the car, other than a tandem legal cage and soon bolt in hand brake solution. This A4 Drift Cab still has working A/c, power windows, Nav and full stereo. Nick named the Cab not for its yellow color (I always wanted an Imola S4) we have some special plans in the works for the car. A lot of this car has been built by my own shop I opened in 2024, Haus of Euro in Tempe,AZ. Most of my team here has driven the car and is actively learning how to drift in this car.
