I bought this MK4 as a project in 2018. The only thing not missing was the engine. The exhaust, interior, hood, headlights, taillights, suspension, brakes, hubs, and bearings were all absent. The car was a rolling shell that was parted out and headed to a scrap yard before I saved it. Once I confirmed it ran, I started to fire the parts cannon at it. I found a MK4 part out thread, ordered the rest from ECS, and started piecing this MK4 back together. I have spent more than I should have on an old MK4, but I enjoyed saving it, making it run, drive, and perform better than ever.

Gary, a member of our R&D team, prefers an OEM plus aesthetic on his vehicles - which makes for a very clean and unassuming build. His low-mile Candy White Mk6 GTI quickly went from a tame daily driver to an aggressive three-season handling machine. While no modified car is ever "done", we think this example is pretty complete.

This MK6 Jetta 2.5 was my first car, and it's been what has motivated me to learn how to work on, maintain, and modify cars. The connections I've made in the VW community and the experience of learning more about cars are as much a part of it as the car itself. The only thing better than the community is how much I love the sound of an inline 5!

Louise was the solution to needing a winter vehicle since my old E39 was too low to drive around Ohio in the snow. After the first year or so, I began to see the potential of this little car. Thus began the modding. It started like usual with coils and wheels but as time went on I wanted something that could be track capable. The MK6 was a welcomed change from the MK5 styling, which we were more than happy to make our own with this MK6 GTI. Our MK6 GTI features a Genuine European VW front end conversion to mimic the MK6 R body, which we imported and converted before the USA received the R version of the chassis. Unpopular opinion: we love the MK5 platform. The E90 M3 was the last naturally-aspirated generation to bear the M-badge with its S65 V8 stuffed between the strut towers. On your E90, E91, E92, or E93, your rear toe arms are fixed. This is fine for your BMW if your suspension is stock, but as soon as you lower it, you are going to be out of spec.
