Greg's E30 325i Vert
The car was purchased in April of 2017 with 108k original miles and a working odometer! The car was found in Nitro, West Virginia and was a doctors car that seemed to only be taken out on the weekends and in nice weather. It had been in storage since 2008 and right before it went into storage it had a brand new top put on it. The car is fully functional with all drivetrain being 100% stock. Once it was trailered back to Ohio the refresh began. The car has been gone through from top to bottom. All new timing, water pump, thermostat, head gasket, and all rubber hoses were replaced. When the head was off the engine was inspected and still showed factory cross hatching in the cylinder bores. This car is a perfect example of a daily drivable 30+ year old car. It is a survivor that gets many miles a year and is taken to car shows quite often. It does have some basic modifications but the point was to keep it as stock as possible and on the road for many more years to come!
Tyler's MK6 Golf TDI Build List
Tyler purchased this once VW dealer shop parts car out of New Mexico in June of 2019. Over time it has become less of a daily and more of a fun backroads car. With less power than a Honda Civic, and adding some select exhaust mods and a tune, it will now overcome a few grocery getters. He will plan to keep this car as the perfect daily driver for quite some time to come. Here’s a list of some of the products he has on It available here.
Craig's BMW E30 Vert M50 24v Swapped Build List
I'm Craig, our Social Media and Creative Content coordinator, and this was my 24v-swapped, late-model-converted, E30 Vert. This car entered my life when E30s were cheap and plentiful after my daily was totaled by a red light runner. It was physically pristine, but it was mechanically in need of everything, which is why it ended up 24v swapped, among the host of other upgrades and retrofits I performed during my ownership of this E30. I sold this car in April of 2021, but it will forever be the best E30 I've ever owned and the most in-depth build I've attempted to date.
Craig's Porsche 996 Carrera 4 Build List
When the 996 Carrera debuted in 1998, my uncle gave me a scale model of a C2 Cabriolet, which cemented my love for these cars from an early age. Years later, I lived with him in Germany for a summer, where I was fortunate enough to learn how to drive a manual transmission in his 993 Targa. Since that experience, I promised myself I'd own a 911 before I turned 30. In February of 2021, I sold my E30 and my VA WRX to purchase this 996.1 C4 aero 6spd. I immediately addressed all the common concerns, added a few Rennline goodies, and now plan to enjoy the car for the rest of my life.
Shirk's B5 S4 Avant
I'm Josh, & I'm always hunting for a good deal even when I don't "need" another car. When the opportunity came up to buy a Laser Red (second best color) B5 S4 Avant in manual I had to jump on it! It was a 1 owner car that a Dr. in NY State had owned & serviced at 1 dealership since new. I got full service records from delivery to 182K. I wanted to keep it very OEM+ replacing old & tired parts with a few upgrades as seen below. The B5 S4 owners groups have been great at sourcing NLA Genuine parts like the Sport Mirrors & Interior Trim. Extremely fun car to drive on nice days!
Shirk's MK5 GTI Fahrenheit Build List
If you type in VW commercial the most popular results are still the "Un-Pimp Your Auto" from the mid 2000s when the MK5 was launched! That marketing hooked me! So naturally when I had the opportunity to buy a low mileage Fahrenheit Edition I jumped on it. My Fahrenheit is #254 of 1,200 and I have owned it since 2015. It was relatively stock when I picked it up, but it didn't stay that way for long. I immediately did coilovers, wheels, intake, tune, full 3" exhaust & upgraded fuel pump. We have used it as a development car for multiple ECS Products!
Dave's F30 340i xDrive Build List
I've wanted to own a BMW since I was a little kid. They've always struck me as the perfect combo of luxury and performance. After years of forcing myself to buy "practical" cars, I finally started looking for a 2017 F30 340i XDrive. I stumbled upon one at a local dealer in Glacier Silver Metallic with a red interior and it still makes me smile every time I look at it. So far I've done some basic mods (intake, flush kit, charge pipe, front lip, blackout grilles). Next up is probably a skid plate. After that, who knows?
Bill's E46 M3 Build List
My first car was a 1998 528i, that's where I was first introduced to BMW. That car was my first experience working on a lot of things by myself, and I found out how straightforward BMWs were to maintain. Ive had plenty of other Euro cars, including a 911 SC, but the E46 M3 was always my dream car from the beginning. Eventually, I sold the 911 and bought my M3 in 2009. Since then, Ive repainted it Daytona Violet, installed a Hamann wing like the Turner Motorsport team used on their race cars, put the factory seats back in, and am re-kitting it for an OE+/CS style build.
Shawn's MK4 Jetta 1.8T Build List
love your car build your car the way you want, dont build it for someone else to like it.
Pat's F10 535i N55 Build List
I'm Pat, the Turner Brand Manager. As a die-hard manual transmission enthusiast, I had to be patient and wait for exactly what I wanted from a daily driver. After an exhaustive search, I found the perfect manual, M-sport, F10 5-series. It's the last ever manual 5 series produced, so I want to keep the car forever, which is why I haven't wasted any time building it up for a bit more fun. I started with all the bolt-ons and a tune to give the car some life. Following the power mods, I added some creature comforts and coilovers to make this F10 exactly the way I've wanted it to be.
Pat's E46 M3 Build List
It's hard to beat the sound of the S54, unobstructed by the roofline of the car. I scoured the earth to find a Cinnamon dressed E46 convertible, and was looking for one with 100k+ miles so I didn't ever feel guilty enjoying it. My goal with the car is to restore it to it's original condition from a cosmetic perspective. All of the interior bits are being replaced one by one, as well as the badges, emblems etc. Future plans for the car include a few performance upgrades such as Supersprint headers, Turner Suspension goodies, and anything else that will help me enjoy this forever car, forever.
Tyler's Tiguan MQB Tiguan
I'm Tyler, our Videographer, and I drive a 2018 Volkswagen Tiguan SE. I fell into being an enthusiast by accident. I used to think cars and car guys were the worst. But when I accepted my position here at ECS, I knew I had to step up my car game. Being pretty tall, I picked up this Tiguan because it was a Volkswagen with legroom that shares a bunch with the MK7 GTI platform, so I don't have to keep it stock and boring or fold myself up to drive it. I have grown to love my tig (Tig Notaro, the notorious T.I.G.) and have enjoyed watching it change into what I envisioned.
Thomas's B5 S4 Build List
I found my passion for cars when I stumbled upon a MK6 GTI for my first car. Sadly, one day pulling into ECS a semi hit me and now the car is gone. I stumbled upon an Imola Yellow B5 S4 rotting away, and I knew I had to have it. Although the car doesnt run, I have purchased big brakes, larger turbos, wheels, tires, and a load of other parts knowing it will be a driving machine!
Ellen's X5 M Build List
We wanted another SUV but, we didnt want to sacrifice fun for something bigger. Power, functionality, and uniqueness were all requirements for the SUV addition to our fleet. The E70 X5M not only meets all those requirements but exceeds them. From only minor modifications, this X5 makes absurd power for an SUV in the best way possible. The E70 X5M is a versatile daily driver that can tow like a tank, has lots of room for activities, and gives plenty of 'performance' cars a run for their money, just the way we like it.
Cheyenne's Mini F54 Clubman Cooper S All4 Build List
My name is Cheyenne Harrison, Die hard Mini Fan and car enthusiast. I've been into Mini Cooper's since I can remember. I am a Certified Technician for Toyota but my heart has always been for European cars. My biggest inspiration is Vincent Delciappo who is my boyfriend and best friend, If you know anything about us 99% of the time we are in the garage everyday after work working on something ranging from big to small. He has a number of European cars that are all Modified With a variety of custom and retrofitted parts that are quite tasteful. This is actually my 3rd mini. I Currently Own 2 minis. One is a Daily F54 Clubman S All4, and this one an 04 R53 Mini Cooper S 6 speed. After Many donor cars I have been though, this one still isn't perfect but exactly what I wanted. Some Modifications include Complete dash and door card refresh and swap, LCI steering wheel and dash Complete carpet removal and working on getting Rennline Floor plates in place of the carpet. Lowered just enough on Solo Werks coilovers that are on top of OEM Custom Bronze BBS wheels, 4 point roll cage on top of custom steel reinforcement plates, and many more modifications. In the direction I'm going with the car it will be a circuit track car!
Chris's BMW E90 335 N54 Build List
I wanted an N54-powered BMW since they came out in 2007. In 2017, I hunted for a manual with AWD. Initially, I decided to keep the car stock, but that didn't last. First came MHD software, then intake and exhaust mods to add a bit more power. Soon after, I found the stepped intercooler, which fits behind the bumper and looks OEM. When my stock turbos started leaking oil, I opted for the largest OEM-location turbos I could without going for a big single turbo and have maxed out the stock injectors. Now, what was supposed to be a stock 335xi dynos at 568whp. Oops.
Ben's Q5 3.0T Build List
A twelve hour drive, a one way rental car, and a one hour uber to find perfect car (for now). After searching for B8.5 S4’s and C7 A6 3.0T’s I was never able to nail down the perfect setup at the right price. Putting all the wants together of the B8 and the C7 I landed on the Q5 3.0T. The 3.0T can pull a lot of power with little effort and the ZF8 trans can take just about anything you throw at it. Plus a little extra head room would be nice. Also saving on the “S” tax I basically get a SQ5 minus some bigger front brakes and quad exit exhaust. I narrowed my search to simply facelift 3.0T, prestige, black optics and 2 popped up. One was across the country and the other only a state away. 2015 Monsoon Gray Q5 3.0T prestige with black optics and 2 tone sport seats. After a lot of searching and driving the mods begin! Fast forward a bit and it’s currently stage 2 using IE software with the ECS supercharger pulley and intake. For some sound I went with a set of un-resonated downpipes and the ECS X-pipe for now. I’ve had H&R on multiple other cars so I had to go with the H&R street performance coilovers and front and rear sways which make car handle and look fantastic. For some extra support I also added the ECS X-brace and transmission mount.
Ricardo's 996.2 Carrera Build List
As a car enthusiast, owning a car to modify is a must, and to me a Porsche has always been the perfect platform. It took over a 1 year of searching to find the right 911 to fulfill my needs. I came across this 996.2 Carrera, mostly stock with 28k miles, factory aero kit, lowered and MRR Design wheels. Shortly after taking this car home I installed LN Engineering IMS Solution, Deep Sump kit, Ohlins Coilovers, RSS Engine Mounts, GT3 style seats and many other maintenance items. This car offers the perfect balance between street and track use while still accessible to be modified. As part of the family of ECS Im looking to help expand the aftermarket parts catalog for these generations of porsches and newer.

Bryan's MK4 Jetta 1.8T Build List
I bought this MK4 as a project in 2018. The only thing not missing was the engine. The exhaust, interior, hood, headlights, taillights, suspension, brakes, hubs, and bearings were all absent. The car was a rolling shell that was parted out and headed to a scrap yard before I saved it. Once I confirmed it ran, I started to fire the parts cannon at it. I found a MK4 part out thread, ordered the rest from ECS, and started piecing this MK4 back together. I have spent more than I should have on an old MK4, but I enjoyed saving it, making it run, drive, and perform better than ever.
Gary's MK6 GTI Build List
Gary, a member of our R&D team, prefers an OEM plus aesthetic on his vehicles - which makes for a very clean and unassuming build. His low-mile Candy White Mk6 GTI quickly went from a tame daily driver to an aggressive three-season handling machine. While no modified car is ever "done", we think this example is pretty complete.
Chris's MK6 Jetta 2.5 Build List
This MK6 Jetta 2.5 was my first car, and it's been what has motivated me to learn how to work on, maintain, and modify cars. The connections I've made in the VW community and the experience of learning more about cars are as much a part of it as the car itself. The only thing better than the community is how much I love the sound of an inline 5!
Tom's F10 535 N55 Build List
Tommy Lilly, our Director of Sales for ECS, daily drives a perfectly set up F10 535i that expertly blends the luxury and performance elements that BMW intended with this executive sedan. His F10 features modest improvements to performance and looks with H&R Sport springs, a Magnaflow touring exhaust, rear spoiler, aFe intake, and Turner Motorsport software tune for more power, more aggressive looks, and an overall more enjoyable commute.
B8.5 A5 S-Line / S5 Gloss Black Grille Accents
What the B8.5 A5 S-Line and S5 lack in aggressive styling, they make up in performance. But you don’t have to just accept that it will always look like a regular commuter car. Our new Gloss Black Grille Accents offer an aggressive visual change that helps the natural lines of the bumper around the fog lamps give off a more menacing appearance.
Rhonda - Evan's Mk7 Jetta R-Line Build List
After turning my MK5 R32 into purely a summer/weekend car I needed a new daily. Lucky for me the newest chassis of Jetta had just landed and touted 45mpg! Knowing ECS would take an interest I decided to buy it hoping I'd get some goodies. Boy was I right. ECS outfitted Rhonda with their full carbon kit (wing, diffuser, front lip, fog flares) along with installing a set of Solo-werks S1 coils and Borla's dual-quad tipped exhaust specifically designed to fit ECS's diffuser. Then I threw some Rotiform LAS-R's on her and boom that's one good-looking daily!
