New 8V S3 ECS Valved Exhaust

The stock throttle body is smaller than the supercharger inlet creating a massive restriction and directly responsible for power loss. ECS Tuning's in-house designed and engineered Performance Throttle Body Upgrade will do the trick. Designed with a smooth flow path in mind, we start off with a wire reinforced silicone inlet that resists collapse and is stepped in the internal diameter to create a smooth transition to the throttle body. We then went with a high quality OEM Mopar 80mm throttle body that is 10mm larger and has 30% more cross sectional area than OE. The final step is the cast aluminum adapter housing with port matched internal diameters to provide the smoothest flow path possible. On our test car equipped with IE dual pulley 93 octane 80mm throttle body tune, ECS exhaust (valves open, stock catalytic converters), ECS supercharger heat exchanger, ECS Kohlfaser Luft Technik Intake, ECS supercharger and crank pulley, we saw 415 HP and 385 TQ at the WHEELS. It’s no secret that Volkswagen's suffer from weak, failure prone rubber control arm bushings. The stock rubber bushings are designed to allow significant movement of the front wheels and to absorb road impacts. This compliant design maximizes daily driving comfort and helps add to the “luxury” feeling of your VW, but it also contributes to the numb, disconnected feeling that many enthusiasts complain about with modern cars. Not only is the OEM design far from ideal for the street or racing enthusiast that is looking for optimal handling and braking performance, the constant twisting and deflection required of the rubber bushing often causes premature failure, resulting in degraded handling, wheel shimmy, delayed turn-in response, delayed braking response, unwanted alignment change, and poor tire wear. For the rest of us who enjoy seeing what our car is made of, these types of bushing simply won’t cut it. Introducing the new ECS Tuning Front Control Arm Monoball Bushings! The ECS Engineering team set out to design a solution that offers a far superior bushing when compared to OEM, requiring no modification and offering nearly instantaneous cornering, accelerating and decelerating response for the absolute best road feel and driving experience possible. Our monoball bushings utilize a serviceable spherical bearing for exceptional quality and durability. A CNC machined Delrin hex sleeve insert provides a precision fit between the control arm and bearing. By utilizing a greaseable spherical bearing, ECS achieved the ultimate in terms of low friction no bind suspension travel with no unwanted deflection, providing exceptional cornering response, and prompt acceleration and deceleration feedback; all while maintaining exceptional comfort and durability levels making these an excellent no compromise upgrade even for a street car. These control arm monoball bushings are a must have for any track car, but are also completely street-able and are a great upgrade for any enthusiast that enjoys spirited driving.

However, testing proves that they are no more powerful than the factory coils that are found on 1.8T and 2.0T engines. APR Ignition Coils increase energy output by 10%. Turner E90 335d M57 Stepped Intercooler / Intake
Denser air means a larger mass of air and fuel in the same intake volume, resulting in more power. Turner Motorsport has developed an intercooler upgrade that is far superior to the stock unit. Recognizing the appeal of the compound turbo M57 powered E90 vehicles, Turner Motorsport developed in an intake to make you fall in love with your BMW again. The M57 engine never sounded this good. Turner's intake effectively eliminates restriction caused by the factory airbox, especially in the top end. This combined with increased air flow allows for gains of up to 20 wheel HP and 26 ft-lbs of torque at the wheel.

B8/B8.5 S5 3.0T Center X-Pipe Kit
The engineers at ECS Tuning have designed a direct fit dual exhaust x-pipe cross section to balance exhaust pulses and increase expulsion of exhaust gases from the engine. Installation of the Center X-Pipe increases the factory exhaust system note exponentially giving a more tuned European sound. NEW Turner Motorsport N20 Charge Pipes
The N20 OE charge pipes are very prone to failure; after constant heat cycling, the factory plastic piece becomes very brittle, leading to cracks and boost leaks, and ultimately entire part failures. The OE charge pipe has also been proven to break under increased boost pressure. Replace the weak OE charge pipe with the Turner Motorsport N20 Charge pipe for increased air flow, and increased throttle response. You can safely turn up the boost on your N20 once this kit is installed, and not worry about the problematic factory piece.

Designed with factory-fitment in mind, Turner Motorsport Silicone Throttle Body Boots install snugly and are engineered to offer high-durability under street and race conditions, including boosted applications. Not a simple silicone reducer, these boots were designed to feature the same internal features as the originals. With three-ply construction, these boots are slightly thicker than factory boots and are compatible with screw-style clamps. Use your preferred clamp, or select the kit with clamps!
